first of all, we wanted to extend our biggest thank you's to all of the members that applied. this has been one of our more difficult staff searches simply because we had a lot of amazing applicants and not nearly enough spots for all of them. if you didn't make it this round,

don't be discouraged! it was so tough making these decisions and we would love to see you and other caution members reapply next time. keep making caution beautiful by posting resources and being active in discussions and the cbox, it definitely will be noticed by us if you keep active and are a familiar face next time a staff search pops up! so again, thank you so much and i really hope we see many of your beautiful faces next time!

with that being said, we finally were able to come to a decision and will be bringing six new moderators onto our team! as you are aware already, we have decided to alter the name and the duties of our interview moderators, and they will now be known as community moderators!

our new community moderators are: tee - smile, sunshine ! stani - stani natalie - jabberjay.

our new advertising moderators are: destiny - darcy lewis carrie - carrie bearrie josie - maverick.

It's that time again, we are launching our official Spring Skin Contest, yay! This year we have extended the deadlines so you will have over a month to create your submission.  There are no theme restrictions and we've included our tips sheet in order to help you out.  You can find all of the information needed in order to enter in THIS thread along with the submission forum.  If you have any questions you can follow that link above and post in the 'questions' thread.  Remember, you can work by yourself, with another person, with five other people, or with fifteen other people.  Don't be afraid to recruit an awesome team!

Hey Cautioneers!  We just wanted to take a moment to remind everyone that Caution was one of the first - if not the first - roleplay resource sites on the internet. Years ago, when Caution was first created, our staff team came up with a ton of unique and original ideas incorporated into what is now known as Caution 2.0. A lot of our concepts, themes, boards, and moderator positions were created exclusively for Caution by Caution's staff team. Over the years, as more resource sites began to form, we have encouraged the use of some of our ideas in order to provide more assistance to our fellow roleplayers. Some of our ideas and concepts however have remained exclusive to Caution.  For example, Caution originally created the idea and concept of the Security Moderator position. While the term 'Security' has been around for far longer, the idea and concept behind what a Security Moderator does on a resource site is our original idea. We created that position and the description behind it. While we have encouraged other large resources sites to take advantage of the concept of a security team, they have always asked permission and given Caution its due credit.  We just want to remind all of our members that using a concept or original idea from another site without permission and proper credit is stealing. If you see any of Caution's concepts, ideas, or anything like/directly duplicating the Security Moderator position or description on any other site, they have stolen it; unless, of course, that site has given Caution proper credit. If not, they have ripped one of our original concepts and ideas, which is unacceptable. As you know, Caution does not tolerate ripping or stealing in any form. Please do not support any site that has stolen content, ideas, or themes from another site. A roleplay or resource site is only as strong as its members and if you refuse to support ripping then we have taken one giant step towards eliminating theft altogether. If you do come across this type of theft, please do not hesitate to report it to a Caution Security Moderator or an Administrator.  Thank you so much for supporting us for all of these years!
