Well 2017, it looks like your time is up. You took me for a wild, wild ride the first couple of months. My heart hurt more than I ever thought it would and I'm still trying to pretend like I'm not head over heels in love, almost an entire year after the end. But as always, a big thanks to Toos (rip in peace) and my baby, Bulls, for always being there when people couldn't get it done. I left my home for the last 3.5 years with Honors I never dreamt of and a broken ankle. Really, who would've thought? If you ever get the chance to make Columbus, Ohio home, even for the shortest of time - do it. But like I saw this year - all good (and probably bad) things must come to an end. This summer I made my dream a reality and moved to one of my favorite places. Not a day goes by that I don't wake up amazed that I get to call such a diverse, cultural, and exciting place home. I really am in Heaven. To all my babies who don't think it's possible: it is. And I love y'all. Your environment does not determine what you can and will do in your lifetime. Thank you for making even the most grueling of days still something to smile about. To all my firsts in Louisiana, thank you for teaching me everything you have and will continue to teach me. Lord only knows how much more time we have together. 2018, make it a good one.
