Cause and Effect Saga

Shameless shipping/friendship gushing/nerdness. TMNT fandom. Girl is Selene, first born daughter of Raph. Boy is Tobias, the son of an OC couple of mine. 

Hamato Nia tucked her legs around Nyx on the floor, careful to keep the restless hybrid contained as she lifted Selene into a more comfortable position. The poor dears were exhausted from a short nap, uneasy. Nia could sympathize. But despite their protests, this matter was important to Nia. And after a half-hour war, the chance arrived--a brief lull in the clan’s chaotic life to record the twin’s first birthday.

Michelangelo caught Nyx’s temperamental attention. Selene’s silent whine lifted into just as silent giggles. They stilled, mismatched eyes trained on the camera their youngest uncle aimed their way. Then, Leonardo stole the moment. All the hard work Michelangelo had put into his job was lost under a few colorful curses. Coyo reprimanded the Jonin, but of course it was too late. An upheaval from three very unhappy triplets signified that their father had somehow woken them from their naps. Nia about sent her brother-in-law an understanding smile before a small pressure fell on her knee.

She looked down at Keitaro. Diaper-less, the shaggy-hared hybrid peered up at his mother with round teal-gray eyes. Glared, really. As if being left out of the picture was criminal. To him, it likely was. "Wasn’t Daddy changing your diapy?” Nia asked. She glanced up and Raphael caught her attention with a deadpan expression. A dark spot marred his face, just beside the scars down his right eyes. Her quirk brow asked it all: another kick to the face? Raph scowled. ‘Fine’, her following smile read. Guess Keitaro could be included in the next shot. And with a little make-up, so could his father.

This took longer than it should’ve. And made me cry. In sorrow. You’d understand if you knew about Melody’s Best Friends’...fates. ; n;

I’m warming up more with these. This is actually my favorite sketch page so far and makes me want to re-work the others. But I shouldn’t. I should just finish Mel’s. Move on with life. LOLOL
