Cauldron of Muse

Nick Sheehy is an Australian-born artist and illustrator living in London.

After studying bronze sculpture in the wilds of Tasmania, Nick gave up on art only to re-discover his love of drawing whilst living in London, sparked by an interest in the city’s low brow art, illustration, street art, and graffiti.

In his work, Nick explores the dreamlike, sometimes semi-autobiographical scenes and oddball characters that echo from his childhood imagination.

Employing a laborious technique, building up layers of texture and thin colour, his work infuses precision and attention to detail with random abstraction and clumsiness. He enjoys drawing various weird things for himself, exhibitions, publications, and occasionally the odd client.

Speaking Coral by  Lena Vargas

An alphabet created to share the wonders of coral world as a way of creating awareness of the worldwide problematic affecting them.

This project is born from my admiration and curiosity for these amazing  invertebrate creatures.I wanted to create a voice for Coral, to raise awareness that there is a whole magical world under the water that ishugely important to the life and survival of many marine species, our oceans, us humans and the entire planet. Each letter represents a different fact on Coral and the geometric lines and particles around them are actually trash bitsreferring to the on-growing issue with plastic and garbage all over the world. This project is currently held as an expo at AquaRio - Aquarium at Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. An award winning aquarium in coral research.This alphabet is also being integrated into their educational program to help children learn about coral species.​​​​​​​

Dana Tanamachi

Dana Tanamachi is a lettering artist and designer who enjoys living a quiet life. In 2009, an impromptu chalk installation for a Brooklyn housewarming party landed Dana her first commission for Google and set the popular chalk-lettering trend—and her career—in motion. Her work is highly ornate and historically inspired, something that I want to do with my own creations.
