any reasonably smart and empathetic person knows there is no such thing as good people and bad people, fucking children understand this concept. What children and apparently 40 year olds on tumblr don't understand is that holding hands and thinking positive thoughts is not going to stop violent fascists from shooting you dead. Yeah sometimes you do have to pick a side, sometimes knowing whose on your side and who isn't is difficult, but trying to espouse this holier-than-thou "all violence is bad" bullshit is an easy way to discern whether you're on my side or not.
