Finally a hand sewing tutorial on a hemline that isn't just the ladder stitch! the ladder stitch disappears when you tighten it, but it's not meant for hemlines because it breaks really easily! The overlock stitch is more stable, so it holds much longer, and it won't pucker or warp the fabric!

Three weeks later, most of the way through volume 9, and does it even count as cosplay if he IS me???

So I left off partway through volume 10 a) to protect my sanity and b) to work on secret santa projects, but I have now procured shoes, a vest (green) and a jacket (tan), but I have to figure out which version to do 🤔🤔 I'm in the con hotel for Zenkaikon so maybe both?? I have crocs I could use 🤣 (though they don't have backs on them...) It'd be fun to take him to the masked ball because he already has that mask... so I should probably count on at least having the jacket version ready. Gotta make sure I have some pants that will work.
