You remember Cathodescape? Well, I've finally figured out a way to make NPCs in it! Here is my first one!

I may have gotten inspiration from a certain ringmaster, hehe...

and somewhere else...

But I'm not sure what to do with it! That's why I'm showing you guys! You'll help me, won't you?

Sunny cleaned a glass and set it on the bar counter, turning around to organize bottles that had been misplaced, perking up upon hearing the door open. She spun around quickly.

"What can I getcha'?...."

Cathode waved as she came in.

"Is your cook back yet? I'm not paying for chips again, and you know I can't drink..."

She paused turning back to organize bottles

"uh....he was arrested recently....?"

"AUGH"

Cathode put her hands over her TV screen.

"I don't want overpriced chips again..."

She and Sunny were friends now, so they could... talk... she guessed.

"So... how have you been...?"

"Hey hey wait here..."

She went to the break room for a short amount of time and returned with chips

"ya don't need t'pay...."

"and.......I'm fine....You?"

"W-Wait, no... I should anyway..."

She pulled out some cash (she had forgotten the unlimited-money credit card.)

"I'm better... tired from hunting... but it's good to see you not bleeding to death, or over Host's unconscious body."

"HEY HEY NO YOU AIN'T PAYIN' ME ANYTHIN'!"

She pushed the cash away.

"don't.....bring that up......"

Cathode paused, thinking of what else there was to talk about.

"Actually... I have been working on something. I-I don't know if you'd be interested in it, though..."

She continued organizing bottles, now awaiting an answer.

"Have I mentioned Cathodescape to you at all...?"

"No....not that I can remember?"

She turned around and propped her chin onto her hand now turning her focus to cathode.

"It's the world inside my TV head, like how Mr. Puzzles had PuzzleVision."

Cathode tapped the side of her own head.

"I've been trying to figure out how to make people who aren't really people - NPCs - to better populate some channels. I believe I'm on the verge of a breakthrough..."

She paused hearing Puzzles name, she wasn't fond of the showman what so ever.

That was probably clear by her and 'Cathy's' first interaction.

"I....uh..."

She stuttered unsure how to respond before realizing, it isn't in Cathode's interest to puppeteer them against their will right?

Puzzles could've done so much more with 'PuzzleVision' and Sunny believed Cathode would do better than Puzzles.

She wasn't sure how much she could trust her though.

"interesting.....tell me more...."

Cathode didn't pick up on Sunny's unease. She finally had a captive audience willing to listen to her plans. She couldn't lose it!

"There is something about bringing in real people that's... thrilling..."

"The hunt for the right person, the breaking and entering, the screams as I make them fit into the role I want for them..."

"I can't give that up..."

A mad little giggle escapes from the television.

"okay....okay..."

She wasn't sure how to respond.

She had killed countless people but was still uneasy by the topic.

After a few awkward moments of silence she pushed herself off the counter quickly.

Cathode kept giggling to herself, not noticing that she'd scared Sunny away until it was too late.

Someone else had left her...

again...

But that would change soon! She was on the verge of making actors who needed no direction, crew that needed no instruction, and an audience that would never, ever leave her.

And she could always keep coming back to Ink N Drinks (unless she got banned for her actions)...
