It's that time of year again!

It's time for the Yuri Shipping Olympics: 2026 edition!

What is the Yuri Shipping Olympics, you ask?

Currently on its fourth year running, the Yuri Shipping Olympics is an annual yuri fanwork event that runs from May 10th to September 13th, with the goal of celebrating yuri by putting more femslash fanworks into the world! The best part is, any type of fanwork goes! Fanart! Fanfic! Cosplays! Edits! AMVs! Fanmade music! I've even seen playlists submitted and scored for the mini rounds!

Come join Team RWBY in making all of our favorite girls kiss each other! We've already got a variety of ships in our roster! From Bumbleby to Snowfall to Rainbow Dust to Purrha, no matter how rare the pair, the girls shall smooch!

Team RWBY was victorious in last year's Olympics and we need your help to defend our title and our team's honor!

We may not have Volume 10 yet but we have yuri!!!

If all of that sounds like a lot, and/or if you aren't up to making something, you can still participate! A vote-only option is also open for those who simply wish to lurk in on the works being created and vote for their favorites in the main rounds! You don't even need a team affiliation to be a voter!

What is YSO?

Glad you asked! Yuri Shipping Olympics (YSO) is a yearly summer-long event created by and for yuri enjoyers to create more yuri! Yay!!

Teams are formed based on pairings, fandoms, or even broader categories, and create fanworks of any medium (drawing, writing, or any kind of content your yurious heart desires) based on given prompts. There are even mini rounds where we can create prompts for each other to use!

If making content isn't your style, you can also join us as a voter and vote for your favorite submissions, and come hang out with like-minded yuri enthusiasts!

Team RWBY would love to have you! But if you're really vibing with another team, feel free to join that one instead, or try and get enough people to make your own! It's all for fun! Just know, I will not forget this declaration of war.
