okay I've been wanting to say this but I didn't want to make it seem like I'm putting gwynriel over elucien (which I'm really not since I'd love to have a book with both couples and won't have to wait years to read the other couple).
So, I know the general theory is that elain is going to be the next main character since she's the remaining sister. And that's a belief held by both eluciens and the other group. And a lot of people cite the CHD podcast as proof. But that podcast is why I'm hesitating to believe in elain/lucien POV. I was also convinced by the multi-POV theory since that seems the most obvious with the word choices she used ("insight into various things"). And a gwynriel/elucien book would be huge + she could take a long break from ACOTAR after it.
but where my hesitance comes from in regards to full believing in a gwynriel/elucien book is her delving into Elain's mindset and thought process during the interview. She did not once try to dodge the question or simply say "we will find out". She tells us how Elain is feeling "right now" (interesting word choice especially since she already wrote the books) and idk the way she talks about it makes it seem like she hasn't addressed or concluded it yet. Unless elain ends book 7 still being unsure which would be kinda crazy idk.
I just think it's interesting that she didn't want to mention anything in regards to acotar 6 (we don't even have a title/synopsis/POV nothing!!!!!) but she didn't mind telling us where elain is at and what she's feeling.
I'd love for other elucien shippers to lmk what they think and if they also found it suspicious or if they actually think there's a reason she accepted the question and gave her answer.
