A holiday in the Philippines with some of your favourites is a dream come true. It could have been one of those things said in excitement and might not have ever happened... but it bloody did and it was #thebestholidayever
Arriving in Manila a day before, Greg and I felt like kids on Christmas Eve. We sat by the window watching planes come in hoping it was their flight. As you can imagine, once the gang arrived it was as messy as expected as we embarked on our 'Thriller in Manila' for one night only (it turns out we've spent more time in Manila than anywhere else in Asia... funny eh)
Next stop Boracay where we saw the fruits of the boys planning on the infamous White Beach... they were all dressed in leopard print budgie smugglers, a treat for all (or not). Things went from drunk to drunker (think Brits abroad) and it's safe to say the party capital of the Philippines lived up to its name. Our very own A.M.B even made it onto one of Boracays biggest club line ups. Sick.
After waking up with the biggest hangover from a few solid days partying, it was time to explore Pala(wag)wan as Greg called it.
It was quite possibly one of the most beautiful places on earth spent with the best people, making it unforgettable. Big up boat trips A & C. Massive big ups to Fran who raised two fingers to any bad weather conditions to get us a private boat, a crab seafood lunch and ensured we got the secret beaches to ourselves. As I'm writing this, I'm raising my Red Horse to you my tasseled friend.
Finally, to end the trip we were treated to our own private island for three days of ultimate chill. Thelma and Toby's island is incredible. We kayaked, we paddleboarded and we drank more Red Horse. Oh and let's not forget the amazing light show put on by plankton each night, that was a skinny dip to remember.
All in all, our friends* are the dogs bollocks and so was this 'holiday'. Next, Colombia?
