Hello, my name is Nadin. I’m from Gaza. I’m a graphic design graduate, a wife—and now, a mother.
I finished my design studies just before the war began. I had dreams of starting a small studio, of creating art that told stories. I used to think about colors and fonts and the future.
Then, the war came. And the future became something we tried to hold onto, moment by moment.
On October 22, 2023, I learned I was pregnant when a missile destroyed my husband’s family home, killing 25 members—his mother, siblings, nieces and nephews—entire branches of our family in seconds.
We were displaced twice. Everything was gone—home, safety, routine, rest.
A few weeks later, I gave birth to our daughter. There was no crib, no celebration—not even stillness. But she arrived, quietly and beautifully. In her eyes I saw something I hadn’t felt in weeks: life that still wanted to grow.
Now, our days are shaped by decisions that could dismantle the future we are trying to build together.
Today, Israel’s government is discussing plans for a full military occupation of the Gaza Strip, including Gaza City and southern regions. The stated aim: to eliminate Hamas and later hand governing control to allied Arab forces—not Israel—but with no clear path to peace or normalcy.
The humanitarian fallout is devastating. More than 61,000 Palestinians have died in this war; hunger and malnutrition are rising sharply. Hospitals in north Gaza have shut down, and 193 people have now died of starvation, nearly half of them children.
Aid remains blocked, water is scarce, and many risk dying of hunger or disease long before future promises arrive.
We Don’t Know What Comes Next
There’s no clear path forward—only uncertainty for our daughter’s life and our ability to survive another day.
My name is Nadin, and I’m a mother from Gaza.
How You Can Help
I’m asking for support—not for comfort, but for survival:
Help us meet basic needs so we can breathe, heal, and preserve a world for our daughter.
Support us as I try to stand again on my own feet—even a glimmer of stability matters.
If you’ve read this far, thank you. If you can give—thank you. If you can’t—just sharing this post is a lifeline I will never forget.
you're so purrfect with your cunning, sharp, small teeth, and flicking tail -- invisible, but i can see it in your hips there; how you're moving is showing me the catlike way you're feeling. the way you're licking your sharp, thin, small teeth is like you're hungry. cats have this sinuous, wiry thing, a continuous motion to their movements, and i can see that in you right now...the way you're never still, your lithe rhythm, in place, but -- moving...nyaaaawwww...*blink* and open your eyes.
whenever you look at the back of your right hand, you might get an odd feeling that you want to lick it just once. you might not do it, it's just that you get that odd feeling, like you used to or sometimes you -- like a flashback to being a cat, that's kind of what it is, somehow you were a cat and -- you would lick your paw, worried or purring, staring at somecat you didn't like, or you did -- and that's what would happen, you would notice the back of your paw and lick it like that. and now that's what it's like, you...sometimes see it, the back of your hand, and it's just...like a distant memory of that. licking it was somehow the thing you did, when you didn't quite know what else to.
and if you should lick the back of your hand, one time when you feel that odd sense, i don't actually know what you'd feel quite. sometimes you just feel silly, because what's there? just the back of your hand. it's not what it was like. in the life of the cat. and if it is a little what it was like, or the memory of what it was like is so strong, that that's where you are -- if i lick the back of my hand right now -- i just did -- and again, and a third -- fourth -- fifth time, i -- nyyaawwwwww.......uhm, i, meeeowwwwwww....i....the...there's a little hair there, on me, the back of my hand. i think if i look at it again i will lick it. hmmmph. maybe i was a cat, i don't know. rrrrrrrrrrrrr..don't look...not a cat...rrrrnrnrnrrrrr....rrrr...lick....two three four five uhm...ten or something times,,,....mewwww...rrrrrrnnnnnn...nnnnn....
I get asks like this a lot, usually 3-4 whenever I reblog that post. And I usually don't answer them, because I'm never perfectly confident with my answer. Mostly because while I try to maintain a solid theoretical understanding of this all, I'm broadly on the 'tist side.
So, in addition to what I have to say below (or in refutation of it, if you disagree), I'd greatly appreciate if experienced hypnotees could give their own suggestions in the replies and the reblogs.
Anyway, the first thing that comes to mind is, of course, the Carleton Skills Training Package. If you read any hypno theory, you're pretty likely to see it mentioned, and while as with all psychology it's somewhat dubious and its ultimate goals are different from ours, it's still a starting place and a starting place that has a pretty good history. A few papers I've genuinely liked mention it positively.
Then, more broadly, I think that 'practice' is the most correct answer. If you've found hypnosis files or hypnotists that "work" for you, experience them over and over. Get used to what that feels like, and let the capability develop in your brain.
Currently, I'm generally a fan of the 'cold control' model of hypnosis, which understands the effects of hypnosis as essentially "actions and behaviors where the subject is not mindful of their intentions". That is to say, it separates "doing something" from "being aware you're doing something" from "being aware you intend to do something", and presents hypnosis as a way of having subjects do things that they are not aware they have an intention to do.
That is to say, "you" are doing things, but you are not "aware that you intended to do them". So, complex actions appear non-volitional.
This broadly implies that before you can experience hypnosis, you must first be willing to do the prescribed actions. Towards that end, you should practice simply going along with it. Practice turning off the voice in your head that rationalizes everything and tells you not to do things. Mime it out, let yourself follow along volitionally.
And, the goal here is to let yourself become less aware of your own intentionality, so, as you follow along, focus on other details. Try to distract the part of your brain that fixates on intent and choice and what you want to do, while still following along and obeying.
Try to engage with the imaginative suggestions uncritically, which may be hard. Trying simpler ones first may be easier, and gradually building your way up. Perform the actions they imply, in any case, and let that be a starting point.
This may feel a bit like juggling, or be very difficult for you, or feel anathema somehow. If you have an ego belief in your own un-hypnotizability, you know better than I how to work through it.
To me, practicing my ability to get absorbed in a stimulus was probably the most helpful thing.
A lot of people view absorption as a result of hypnosis, and expect to have their mind magically pulled in as the effects take hold. I don't find it impossible to work with such an expectation, but it's still fundamentally backwards. Absorption is what enables the thing we call hypnosis, not the other way around.
At its simplest, increasing my ability to get absorbed meant increasing my baseline level of comfort. Think things like having a private space where I could be assured nobody was going to interrupt me, feeling like I could trust whoever or whatever was hypnotizing me, not having anything time-sensitive coming up, etcetera.
(All of this is often framed as 'reducing distractions', which I think creates a weird pressure to eliminate all possible outside stimuli. It's fine if a passing sound grabs your attention for a second - the problem with a buzzing phone or knock on the door is that they are calls to action.)
As a more targeted exercise: just focus on something. Start with a semi-engaging focus, like white noise, a ticking clock, or a candle, and just try to experience it at the exclusion of everything else. Don't worry about 'becoming hypnotized' or 'going into trance', because such concerns are irrelevant to what you're doing here. Just let the stimulus monopolize your attention as well as you can, and take note of how that feels.
You can time how long it takes before you look away, get really bored, or become distracted by your thoughts, and then practice more to try and increase that time. At some point you can try and focus on less inherently interesting things, like random objects an arm's length away, or your own body's physical sensations. Switching between internal and external foci is a helpful skill to practice as well.
It goes without saying that whatever you learn from this will be useful information for your hypnotist to know.
Okay, meow, Minor Disclaimers to the following post
1- This is my first attempt at a Hypnosis Post. I haven't done this before, so quality is already low, mrrp.
2- This file includes petplay (I mean, duh), as well as physical regression, and animalistic heat
3- This idea just came up in my head not too long ago, as I tested it on myself (Self hypnosis). AKA, Basically a horny post wrapped into a hypnosis post, prrr.
In this post, I hope to transform you into a little cat in heat, desperate in need of release, and you have no way of taking care of this on your own
Firstly; whenever you read something that is in this green text, you will breathe in deeply, hold for a few moments, then breathe out.
As you breathe in; you will feel as if you are drawing in energy, and as you breathe out you feel as if you are spreading this energy throughout your body.
Every time you breathe in you will begin sinking, deeper, and deeper into a focused state of mind
As if you are drifting down, deeper into a dark space. An empty void, if you will.
Deeper and further from any sense of reality, as if nothing around you is real.
The only thing that keeps you attached to our reality is our 5 senses, after all. Whenever you lose one, your grip on what is there around you loosens.
Imagine if you lost your sense of smell. A sense most people use day to day to determine if an area is safe, or if food is good and safe to eat.
If you lost your vision, you wouldn't be able to see the world around you, and if you lose your hearing you cannot sense any danger coming from behind.
Now, imagine if you lost your sense of touch. What we use all of the time to determine texture, and feel pain. Personally, as much as we use our sight and hearing, I do not know where we would be without touch. If we couldn't feel the world around us, we couldn't tell what was safe to hold onto, or if we were in pain. Touch is a sense we use 24/7.
In this place, in this void we are falling deeper into, imagine if your sense of Touch has been detached from this reality.
You can still feel yourself, what you wear, and of course what you are using to read this post, and the bed beneath you, or your chair if you are sitting on that. What you are losing your grip on, however, is reality itself.
As we traverse this dark void, nothing that is real will feel real, and those that are not real feel as if they are.
Whenever you read a word that is Purple, like the one above, you will become more detached from reality.
Do not worry, your senses of hearing and vision are still fine (if you have those to begin with). If at any point you see something, hear something, smell or even taste something you find suspicious and no longer feel comfortable doing this, feel free to leave this trance you are in and be normal for a while. After all, this post will hopefully still be here
I am now going to count up to 5. As I count to that number, fall deeper and deeper into this trance.
1: Remember, green means to breathe in, and wait a few seconds to breathe out
2: Remember, purple means that you are falling deeper into a semi-slumber, where reality and illusion mix
3: Continue to spread that energy throughout your body, it will be important later, meow
4: Drop deeper and deeper, into the safe and comfortable headspace,
5
There we go. You are now deep into a nice floaty trance. Take a few moments to enjoy it, kitty
Firstly, it is time that we use all of that energy you collected. I told you that it would be important, remember?
Imagine that energy now begin to heat up into your skin. Not like a fire, but being next to a warm, gentle space heater.
Imagine that your body is beginning to transform into something new with this heat;
You begin growing some nice, fluffy fur all across your body. It can begin wherever you wish it to begin, no need for it to be this thing where it starts from your toes and from body part to body part until it hits your head.
If you want it to be like that you can, or if you want it all at once it can be like that as well. It is your body after all, kitty
Next, your feet and hands undergo a special transformation. Feel as if they transform from humanoid digits into paws. You can still scroll, barely, but you certainly cannot do much else with them.
Wow, you gathered quite a bit of energy, huh? I might have over done it with the collection, but we should be fine
Some of the excess energy we have goes into the finer details on your body. Your legs go from plantigrade to digitigrade, your ears become cat ears, you have an adorable little nose and cute little claws.
Next, a large portion of this energy will go into your spine, as very slowly a tail grows from where it should have been. Nice, long, either slender or fluffy. Let's change a bit more of your bones as well, after all cats walk on 4 legs
Let's take your vocal cords while we are at it, kitten. After all, pets like you don't need to talk, right? Feel your vocal cords be changed as well
(Wow, I had a lot more than I thought. Let me try this, kitty)
Feel as if another chunk of this energy leaves your body, and wraps around your neck. Feel the heat radiating off of this change transform into a cute little collar around your neck.
Unfortunately, I had tried my best to contain it as much as I could, but not only did you gather too much energy throughout this post, you seem to be gathering more as we progress.
It isn't anything too bad, kitty. You will just have to contain this energy yourself
You begin to feel this energy burn up inside of you, trying desperately to escape. Your body, in return is burning up, exciting you, turning you on
The more energy you gather, the hotter you become, and the hotter you become the more horny you get
But remember, kitty, every time you breathe in you gather more of this energy, and you are getting more and more excited like this is causing you to begin panting. After all, that is how pets like you deal with getting over heated
Wait a moment, this means the more you breathe the more energy you gain
The more energy you gain the hotter your insides get
The hotter you are inside the more horny you are
And the more horny you are the more you begin to pant as you seek release
Kitty, I think you are in heat
An endless cycle of seeking pleasure to cool yourself down
And there is just one more problem I think I should address;
You can't exactly touch yourself.
After all, you are a pet, not a person. People have hands to jerk themselves off with, and you have adorable but useless little paws and claws.
I mean, you can rub it, but it isn't doing as much as you need it to, kitten
I don't think it helps that you are on all 4s as well.
As much as I would love to help you, I have a feeling you are enjoying this much pleasure. I am sure a smart little kitty like yourself can find a way to relieve themselves. Perhaps you can find someone smarter to take care of it, or even just hump a pillow.
There won't be any awakeners, so good luck kitty. Maybe I will get you a dog next time, to hang out with...

yes, well...to do as i said...to write a hypnotic tumblr post that directs your attention & eyes with specificity for the entire length...i will first have to find a few gifs. spirals that i like. and that means i'll have to look at a lot of spirals, and "try them out"...that is, i imagine being hypnotized while looking into the center of that spiral. just for a few seconds, so i can see how effective it is. i let my eyes zone out and my vision double to see how it looks to someone who is ready to slip under in a few more moments. that's important, because some spirals at least to me have a multiplying effect when your vision doubles, that is its way more complex & hypnotic so it fills up your vision & is utterly fascinating so you almost can't look away but it's so much it overloads you almost. and that's the moment when *something* happens that you won't remember, and the next thing you know you're opening your eyes on the count of 5.
so yeah, the moment before you drop is what imagine being in, when i'm looking at spirals to find a few that are really excellent. and so as you can imagine, that makes looking at different spirals an intense experience, if i'm trying to imagine being in the moment before trance every time.
this is something i call live writing. i just write like i'm talking. i don't go back and change anything. it's almost better than talking, because i can click off to look for things like spirals, and then come back and keep talking uninterrupted. that is, to you, you don't know i wasn't here typing straight through. if i recorded this, there would be gaps i would have to edit out. this way it's straight through to begin with. and what's important is that i can type really, really fast. when i was paid by the word for a little while, i could make 100 wpm. talking itself is only about 150 wpm. so i can basically type as fast as someone talking at a deliberate pace. like a lot of hypnotists happen to do.
i'm a little hesitant to get in message conversations with people because i think i can be a little scary. i type so fast that it seems like you must be talking to one or another of them ai machines. but no, it's just me. i don't feel like that many people have been seriously accused of being a robot outside of sci fi yet, so it's an interesting experience. asimov prepared me well for life in surprisingly practical terms it seems. anyway. that's hardly related.
now what i would like to do is to go and look for spirals like i said i would. and when i do find some that i like, which may take quite a while, i will put the first one here below the "read more." so when you click "read more," you actually won't read anything, because the first thing you hear will be a spiral. um, the first thing you see. although i kind of do feel almost a humming sound behind my eyes from staring really deeply into a spiral that gets me in the way i talked about. anyway! when you click "read more," you will see a spiral.
when you see that spiral, i want you to stare at it and count inside yourself to 25. i want you to breathe with each number that you count, counting slow enough that you have to breathe in and out between each number. and on each number, i want you to imagine the shape of that number visually -- that number printed on a page, or on a poster, or on a flashing screen in front of you. and i want you to add as much detail as you can to that page or that screen. imagine the number is red and the background is blue, for example. and imagine as much motion as you can -- that the colors of the number are flipping back and forth, red to blue and blue to red, or that the number is spinning, or vibrating back and forth -- when you breathe in the first time, saying 1 to yourself in your head, imagine that number written on a page or on a screen, with as much detail and motion and vibration as you can, and as you breathe in deeper and deeper, keeping that number 1 in your mind, flashing, vibrating, red, blue, red, purple, blue, you notice more details the longer it's there. you notice more details the more you think to look for. as you breathe all the way in, and start to go over to letting that breath out, if you look to see if it's vibrating, you will see that it's vibrating. if you look to see if it's spinning, you will see that it's spinning. if you look to see what colors it's flashing faster and faster, you'll notice more and more colors in between as it flashes faster and faster. and as you breathe out, as you breathe allllll the way out, there might be so much motion and flashing and spinning around with that 1 in your mind that it's almost overwhelming, as if there's nowhere you can look that doesn't start vibrating and flashing, and it's suddenly calm again as soon as you say 2. and you start slowly breathing in again. picturing that number 2 on a page or on a screen, just there. and then slowly, as you breathe further in, and further in, as slow as you can, you notice those details, motion, flashing start to come back, and then flood back, and you might lose track of yourself for a second and only notice when you end up at 3, realizing you didn't even notice when you started to breathe out.
that's a lot to think about, i think. you can certainly read it all again if you'd like to make sure you have it straight. however, you don't have to -- the excellent part of this is, you just have to have the idea. you'll stare at the spiral, counting to 25 and breathing in and out with each number, as slowly as you can, and while you're staring at the spiral, try your hardest to imagine the number you're on, written on a page or on a screen, just there. then you can just pay attention to the details of that number until you breathe all the way out and say the next number to yourself.
it's challenging to imagine numbers like this while staring at the center of a spiral also. it's a really interesting experience to have your eyes active with part of your attention while you also try to see something inside yourself. some people experience their eyes getting heavy as soon as they try to picture the number 1, and if you feel that, it's likely your eyes will get heavier with each number. you might either notice or not notice -- you might get to 25 and realize your eyes have been all the way closed for at least a few numbers, or you might notice them closing but the heaviness is too much to resist while you're also trying to count, breathe and notice the details of the numbers. these details can get really interesting -- you can even try imagining running your finger up the long, straight edge of a big number 1, made of hard steel, then around the tip and down to the base. you can imagine throwing a giant, heavy number 2 in a pool where it makes a huge splash. it's up to you really. some people, also, rather than having their eyes get heavy, they have them roll back, and likewise they might notice as it starts to happen, or they might only realize once they get to 25 that their eyes had been rolling. some people have both happen -- especially people who just read me describe both having your eyes get heavy as you count and having them roll back. you might imagine now that neither will happen to you -- that you can count to 25, noticing the details of each digit as you breathe, and stare at the center of the spiral the whole time, without your eyes getting heavier or starting to roll back if your attention slips. you might also imagine, though. if your attention did slip for a second, whether you'd be more likely to feel your eyes getting heavy or more likely to notice them starting to roll back, or if you're someone who, having read all these ideas, which could be called pre-hypnotic suggestions, might because of that feel both things, and only notice when they count 25 that their eyes are closed and rolled back. so what you can do is, when you're looking at the spiral, & you start to count & you start to notice the details of each number as you breathe, try to notice if any of these things happen. and to have even more to think about, try to notice the part of you that notices. what that means is, try to look for which part of yourself actually feels the sensation of noticing something. it's not quite the regular conscious awareness, is it, if you think about it? things you notice seem to hit you instantly, all there at once, like a realization.
paying attention to how you notice things is important, because there is another thing that can happen -- whether you think your eyes might get heavy or you think they would be more likely to start to roll back if your attention slipped from the spiral, that is only one of the ways that your attention can slip. that's your attention slipping away from your active vision, so you're just counting and breathing and imagining & noticing the details of the digits -- your attention can also slip away from counting, if you stare deeply enough into the spiral, or if you've watched one too many "spirals instantly hypnotize you" hypnosis files. then you might just be there staring at the spiral, and you might not notice for a little while that you forgot to keep counting. you might even get "stuck" on the last number that you remembered to count, picturing that number still there in your mind as you breathe in, and out, and in again, the details getting even more intense than they were, incredibly & i might think overpoweringly intense, because the number is just staying there on the page or the screen in your mind, not blinking over to a new number so that noticing the details starts all over again. you're just on that same number and the details keep getting more and more intricate, and everywhere you look inside your mind there are more details to notice. even if you look up or look down and look away from the number you're on, the background itself is swirling with colors and if you look close enough those colors are vibrating and swirling faster and faster the longer you look. if it gets so overwhelming you have to keep looking somewhere else faster and faster, and in just a few moments all you can do is keep looking somewhere new and then the details get too intense to look at in just a few seconds or even a few moments, and you have to look somewhere else again, and again, and again, you can realize that you are hypnotized. if you happen to get stuck on a number -- or you're too curious & you stop counting on purpose to see what happens -- it might take only a few seconds for you to realize you're deeply hypnotized.
and realizing you're hypnotized is an interesting thing. you feel like you've actually woken up from it a little bit. you can notice how your body feels different & test yourself. can you really not open your eyes? are my eyes really rolled back that hard just from imagining these numbers? how is it possible to imagine this much detail in something, changing so fast? is this what an acid trip feels like? how do i stop this? can i get to the next number? what number was next? what number was i on?
here is what you need to do if you forget which number you're on. this is important to remember, because otherwise you might just sit there staring, and if you started over at 1, you might end up in a bit of a loop, losing track somewhere again until you remember to start over. and you can start over if you really like. you can also do this, though -- just check, mentally, if your eyelids are closed, and your eyes are rolled back. if those things are true, then you can simply realize that you're hypnotized deeply already.
so, to repeat myself, because it's very important -- if you realize you've forgotten which number is next, you can simply realize that you are hypnotized.
when you realize that you are hypnotized, i want you to try to open your eyes. if they're too heavy, you can simply think to yourself, "25," and they'll spark right open. and if you get to 25 without losing count, that's what will happen too -- whether your eyes are open or closed, you'll feel a sort of sharp spark at "25" and pay close attention to the first word that comes after the spiral.
that's a lot to read, but really it's simple: click "read more," look at the center of the spiral, count slowly enough to breathe between each number, imagine each number on a page or screen with intricate, moving, vibrating, strobing details everywhere you look, and notice if your eyes start to feel heavy to start to roll back. 25 will spark your eyes right open, and you'll pay close & intense attention to the first word written after the spiral. if you realize you forgot what number is next, just right away think "25" and your eyes will spark open so you can focus intently on the first word written after the spiral.
ok! with all that written, i'm going to go look at spirals, then i'll come back and put it here & then i'll put a "read more" for you to click so you can see it. and focus. and start with 1. and breathe in. and so forth. see you in a minute. or two hours.
ok! i found one that i like. click if you dare @_@
awake -- is that the word you expected? either way, you're awake. you have to stay awake to keep reading what i'm writing. i have to be awake to keep writing this. it's a little hard to focus on writing this with that spiral spinning right up there. i keep occasionally looking at it for a second before my eyes flick back to what i'm writing. if i stop writing for even a second, i'm noticiny, my eyes flick back to the spiral until i think of something to keep writing. i suppose in theory i could just stare at the spiral while writing...and now i really want to do that. but as much as i want to do that, you couldn't do that, because you have to read this, so i won't. i'll keep looking where you're looking -- right here. the spiral above will have to stay in my peripheral vision.
it's interesting to be aware of something without looking at it. it's an interesting skill -- to focus on something without looking at it...to be able to consider and think about something in the side of your vision, without bringing your focus to it. are you aware of the spiral up there right now, even though you're reading this? it's okay if your eyes flick up to it for a second, before you come back here and keep reading.
being able to focus on something without looking at it is, in fact, a really important skill in sports -- it allows you to misdirect people one the other team who might be looking at your eyes to try to figure out what you're going to do. if you're playing flag football, and you've got the football, and you're trying to throw it to someone on your right, most people will look to their right, and visually focus on the person they're trying to throw to. but the defensive players will be watching your eyes -- that isn't a skill people have to practice. it's natural instinct to watch someone's eyes to see what they might do or where they might go. so if you're looking to your right, the defensive players will see it in your eyes that you're about to throw to your right, and they'll get a head start in that direction before you make the throw.
but if, when you're planning to throw right, you intentionally look left, while still focusing on the target to your right in your peripheral vision -- tracking that target and being aware without looking -- then you can misdirect the defensive players. they'll follow your eyes, and your eyes will send them left. they'll start out going left, and then you throw right -- this is even better than just a head start on them, because you've gotten them started in the wrong direction.
that isn't exactly relevant to hypnosis, but it shows the importance of developing this skill, which does have to be developed conscientiously -- it's not natural instinct to look away from where you want to go. that has to be practiced.
although it could be relevant to hypnosis...for example, a stage hypnotist might hypnotize you with a handshake induction the first time, and then they might want to use a different technique to surprise you for a moment, using a new pathway you weren't aware of, and taking you much deeper. so they might ask you to hold out your hand -- and you would naturally be expecting another handshake induction. if the hypnotist then looks at your hand, and starts moving their arm toward you, your brain will naturally interpret this as the hypnotist reaching toward your hand. every instinct will tell you that the hypnotist is about to tug your hand again -- and whether or not you think you'll be hypnotized when they do, you might tense yourself up or prepare yourself for what that will feel like. you're likely to assume that this is what's about to happen, and so you might look either at your hand or up at the hypnotist's eyes.
but, while he's looking at your hand, and so directing your own attention that way, a hypnotist might in fact be keeping his own focus on your forehead, without looking there. while keeping his own vision perfectly focused on your hand, he might start to move his arm as if to tug your hand -- but then change directions, still focusing his vision on your hand, not giving you any clue something is different. the hypnotist might then bring his hand up around on the other side of your vision, passing his hand by the side of your face opposite your hand, where you aren't looking, where you aren't expecting anything -- and then the hypnotist could tap your forehead, without you having seen his hand coming -- while you were fully expecting your hand to be tugged, because the hypnotist directed your focus that way with his focus. (or at least what you thought was his focus.)
you've probably scrolled down enough now that you can't see that spiral above anymore. you can still practice splitting your focus like this, though -- while you're reading this, try to become aware of something just to the left or right of your screen. (if you're in the dark, you can hold one of your fingers just there, off to the side a bit.) right now, anyone looking at you would assume that you're focused on what you're reading -- and you are. but you're also focused on that thing to the left or the right of your screen. you're aware of that thing, even though your eyes are here. i like to practice this often, if i happen to be waiting for something -- i just find it fun. i'll look at something in front of me, while trying in my side vision to observe someone or something else as best i can. it's interesting to note how different your side vision is -- you really can't make out that many details. it's more or less impossible to read in your side vision. but you can certainly see the shape of something, and the colors.
of course, i was talking a moment ago about how the skill of splitting your focus, of misdirecting people who are looking in your eyes to see what you might to do, is important for a hypnotist. (or for someone throwing a football.) and at the moment, you're only sort of a hypnotist, because although you're reading this to hypnotize yourself, i wrote this. so it's sort of like i'm hypnotizing you. but splitting of focus is frequent in hypnotic inductions. one common rapid induction involves having someone press their hand down on yours as hard as they can, while at the same time focusing on your fingers as you flicker them in front of their eyes. and often, in this sort of induction, the hypnotist will direct the focus of the person being hypnotized rapidly back and forth between these two things -- they'll say, if they notice the push on their hand slackening, to focus on pressing down hard, hard, hard, harder and harder, and then when they notice the person zoning out a little, focusing on pressing, they'll say, "and follow, follow, follow my fingers, following my fingers with your eyes, up, down, left, right, up, up, up," and then they'll be flickering their fingers right at the top of the person's vision, noticing how the person's eyes might start to flicker with the effort of focusing on something at the top of their vision, and then they'll direct their attention back to pressing down harder and harder, as hard as you can, harder and harder, harder and harder, using every little bit of energy that you can find, harder and harder, harder and harder, following my fingers down, up again, down, up, up, up -- here the hypnotist will flicker his fingers just past where the subject can look high enough to see them. this will often cause a subject's eyes to "look" for the fingers up higher than they really can, so that they eyes roll up. then the hypnotist will slip his hand out from under theirs, so that from their pressing their hand suddenly pushes down -- and at the same time, they'll say, "sleep," and bring the flickering fingers down, tapping the person being hypnotized on the forehead. this is a highly effective induction, which you'll see often, because it "shocks" both sides of the split attention -- the focus on pressing down on the hand is "shocked" by the sudden disappearance of resistance against it, and the visual focus on the flickering fingers is "shocked" by the sudden tap against the forehead, when it thought the fingers were flickering up there a little away. because of the split focus, each less than full attention, the visual focus didn't notice that the eyes were rolled up for a moment, and didn't realize it had lost the fingers, so it's shocked by the sudden touch right close on the forehead. likewise the physical focus on pressing isn't aware that the hypnotist slipped his hand away, because your eyes were somewhere else, so it's hit with a momentary mystery. then there's "sleep" -- and what you usually don't see in an instant induction is the "primer," where the hypnotist explains beforehand what's going to happen when he says "sleep." it usually goes something like, "press down on my hand here, and follow my fingers up there. press down hard hard hard, follow back and forth, up and down. good. now in a few moments i'm going to say the word "sleep," and when i say to you "sleep" your arms will drop, your eyes will close and you'll relax completely. okay. pressing harder and harder now, and follow follow following my fingers back and forth and up and down..." and then the induction goes on like i described above. and so this hypnotic suggestion to be hypnotized at the word "sleep" is sort of pre-given, or slipped in while the person being hypnotized is trying to keep straight the two different physical things they're supposed to do. the hypnotic suggestion to be hypnotized at the word "sleep" thereby kind of gets put in the "ok i'll deal with that when i get to it" folder rather than being fully considered, because the attention is already in two other places.
without this pre-suggestion about what will happen when the hypnotist says the word "sleep," people wouldn't just "get hypnotized" merely from the word sleep -- that is, unless they've already seen someone else be hypnotized with the word "sleep." so with people who are already familiar with hypnosis, you don't need the pre-suggestion, because they already have an idea of what will happen, and they already know that "sleep" is a signal to relax and go into a deep hypnotic trance. even if they haven't been hypnotized before, they have the idea in their mind. and with a group of people who aren't as familiar with hypnosis, everyone else will have the idea once the first person in the group is hypnotized, so you only need to give the pre-suggestion about "sleep" the first time, and then everyone watching will have what happens at "sleep" in their mind too.
so splitting of focus has a lot to do with hypnosis, both as a hypnotist and as a person being hypnotized. and back to you and me, i would like to experiment with that now. as you might already be aware, there is a spiral right below this paragraph. when you finish reading this paragraph, i want you to not look at the spiral. i want you to go right past it, and focus on the first word after the spiral. right now, while you're still reading this paragraph, getting closer to the spiral, you might become more and more aware of it there, even without looking at it. your visual focus is on reading these words, but you can also practice having a part of your focus be on that spiral, even without looking. what can you tell about the spiral without looking? you can likely tell which colors it is, and you can likely tell that it's not a simple spiral - there is rotation and counter-rotation, different speeds of motion in different radial bands. try not to do this, but if your eyes do flick to the center of the spiral for a moment, just look right back up and keep reading. this paragraph is going to end in a moment, and then i want you to go right past that spiral, and focus on the next word.
awake. don't look up. focus on the word "awake." at the end of this paragraph, go right back to the word "awake" right there at the start, and stare at it. count to yourself while you stare at the word "awake" right there, saying "awake" to yourself after each number. 1, awake, 2, awake, 3, awake. then go right to the next paragraph after this one. now look back at that word "awake" and the start of this paragraph, and count.
are you awake now? i wouldn't necessarily know. experience in hypnosis quickly shows that there isn't a real line between awake and hypnotized. if you're awake, but still responding to hypnotic suggestions, or still feeling a hypnotically suggested feeling, is part of you still hypnotized? if part of you is hypnotized, does that really mean you're hypnotized? thinking about that hypnotized part of you can quickly remind you of being deeply, profoundly, completely hypnotized, which itself can bring someone back deeply into hypnosis in just a few seconds. in stage hypnosis shows, it's not unusual for someone who was "awakened" to slowly slip back into trance if the hypnotist doesn't say anything at all to them for a few minutes. i've been curious about why this happens, and if i imagine myself being hypnotized on stage, deeply and profoundly, so out that i wasn't even aware of being hypnotized, so out that i can't even remember how i was hypnotized...well, i think i would wonder how i got up on stage here, i would wonder if i was really hypnotized, and then i might start to think about what i could remember, and how i got there. i might think about how i was in the audience & raised my hand and said "i want to be hypnotized." it was pretty direct of me to do that -- it almost didn't feel like me. was i already hypnotized then, and didn't remember? did the hypnotist do an induction on the whole audience, and did it work on me especially? was i there in my seat and as he began, my eyes quickly closed and i was so deeply hypnotized there that i woke up and volunteered for the show without remembering antyhing about it? and then when i was up on the stage, how did i go back into hypnosis? i remember coming up to the stage, and then i was standing staring at the light in the back of the room, and then -- what? i might blink trying to remember what happened next. i might remember that my eyes felt heavy and closed, and then i felt like i was drifting off, and then i noticed i couldn't open my eyes even if i tried, and the harder i tried the tighter they got stuck, and the harder i tried the more they would just roll back, and that proved i was deeply hypnotized.
and while i was thinking about all that, in a chair on the stage, i might feel my eyes getting heavy when i remembered feeling them get heavy, and i might feel them irresistibly start to close when i remembered how heavy they felt, and then i might be there on stage with my eyes closed, trying to open them and remembering how i couldn't, remembering how they would just roll back the harder i tried to open them. and then i might be deeply hypnotized right there, without the hypnotist saying anything. since i knew hypnosis meant deep relaxation, i might start to relax that i melted slowly out of my chair, slipping little by little, thinking about how deeply i was hypnotized and wondering what would happen next.
so i can see how someone who was just hypnotized might enter it again just from wondering how it happened. their thoughts mind wander there after a few minutes even though they're "awake," and then they would be deeply hypnotized again. completely melted and relaxed. once you know about hypnosis, the relaxation feels so incredible that it's always tempting to let it come over you.
at the end of this paragraph, there is a third spiral. you might be aware of it already, becoming more aware of it without looking as you read your way closer and closer to it. when you get there, you can look at the center of that spiral & count to 25 before looking at the next word, as you did with the first one. or you can make your eyes skip past the spiral, going to the next word and focusing on it like you did before. either way, right now, take a deep breath, and relax, imagining that you're deeply hypnotized at the end of a hypnosis show, about to blink and look around and stretch. now --
I love hypnosis, because I have issues with thinking too much and typically going under makes me not think as much, for at least a small period of time. And one of my favorite types of hypnosises (Hypnosisis? Whatever the plural of Hypnosis is I guess) are story based ones.
Inductions that doesn't just bring you under, call you a good pet, give you a trigger and bring you back up, but one that describes a full on scenario, like a book from a story.
I remember one in particular about you being lost in a forest when it starts to rain heavily. To the point in which you need shelter. After traveling far enough, you encounter a Cave. Desperate, you enter
And you go deeper
And Deeper
And Deeper
You are lulled downwards, as if something is pulling you closer and closer to the bottom
Until you make it to your destination: a Dragon's Hoard (with a dragon accompanying it)
And instead of the dragon just killing you for invading it's home, it recognizes your situation and allows you to sleep in a bed for the night because you certainly aren't planning on killing it and or Stealing it's hoard.
Of course, he doesn't want you returning, it is his home and if you tell anybody it would prove to be an annoyance. So the dragon Hypnotises you, makes you forget you were even down there, and when you awake you are... Somewhere else. IDK after you fall asleep you are meant to have actually fallen asleep, and if you aren't the scenario ended anyways meow.
But still
As much as I hate how little kitty hypnosises (hypnosisi?) there are, I also hate how little story-based hypnosis there are (at least the non-horny ones whose purpose is to tell a story like the one above)
yes, well...to do as i said...to write a hypnotic tumblr post that directs your attention & eyes with specificity for the entire length...i will first have to find a few gifs. spirals that i like. and that means i'll have to look at a lot of spirals, and "try them out"...that is, i imagine being hypnotized while looking into the center of that spiral. just for a few seconds, so i can see how effective it is. i let my eyes zone out and my vision double to see how it looks to someone who is ready to slip under in a few more moments. that's important, because some spirals at least to me have a multiplying effect when your vision doubles, that is its way more complex & hypnotic so it fills up your vision & is utterly fascinating so you almost can't look away but it's so much it overloads you almost. and that's the moment when *something* happens that you won't remember, and the next thing you know you're opening your eyes on the count of 5.
so yeah, the moment before you drop is what imagine being in, when i'm looking at spirals to find a few that are really excellent. and so as you can imagine, that makes looking at different spirals an intense experience, if i'm trying to imagine being in the moment before trance every time.
this is something i call live writing. i just write like i'm talking. i don't go back and change anything. it's almost better than talking, because i can click off to look for things like spirals, and then come back and keep talking uninterrupted. that is, to you, you don't know i wasn't here typing straight through. if i recorded this, there would be gaps i would have to edit out. this way it's straight through to begin with. and what's important is that i can type really, really fast. when i was paid by the word for a little while, i could make 100 wpm. talking itself is only about 150 wpm. so i can basically type as fast as someone talking at a deliberate pace. like a lot of hypnotists happen to do.
i'm a little hesitant to get in message conversations with people because i think i can be a little scary. i type so fast that it seems like you must be talking to one or another of them ai machines. but no, it's just me. i don't feel like that many people have been seriously accused of being a robot outside of sci fi yet, so it's an interesting experience. asimov prepared me well for life in surprisingly practical terms it seems. anyway. that's hardly related.
now what i would like to do is to go and look for spirals like i said i would. and when i do find some that i like, which may take quite a while, i will put the first one here below the "read more." so when you click "read more," you actually won't read anything, because the first thing you hear will be a spiral. um, the first thing you see. although i kind of do feel almost a humming sound behind my eyes from staring really deeply into a spiral that gets me in the way i talked about. anyway! when you click "read more," you will see a spiral.
when you see that spiral, i want you to stare at it and count inside yourself to 25. i want you to breathe with each number that you count, counting slow enough that you have to breathe in and out between each number. and on each number, i want you to imagine the shape of that number visually -- that number printed on a page, or on a poster, or on a flashing screen in front of you. and i want you to add as much detail as you can to that page or that screen. imagine the number is red and the background is blue, for example. and imagine as much motion as you can -- that the colors of the number are flipping back and forth, red to blue and blue to red, or that the number is spinning, or vibrating back and forth -- when you breathe in the first time, saying 1 to yourself in your head, imagine that number written on a page or on a screen, with as much detail and motion and vibration as you can, and as you breathe in deeper and deeper, keeping that number 1 in your mind, flashing, vibrating, red, blue, red, purple, blue, you notice more details the longer it's there. you notice more details the more you think to look for. as you breathe all the way in, and start to go over to letting that breath out, if you look to see if it's vibrating, you will see that it's vibrating. if you look to see if it's spinning, you will see that it's spinning. if you look to see what colors it's flashing faster and faster, you'll notice more and more colors in between as it flashes faster and faster. and as you breathe out, as you breathe allllll the way out, there might be so much motion and flashing and spinning around with that 1 in your mind that it's almost overwhelming, as if there's nowhere you can look that doesn't start vibrating and flashing, and it's suddenly calm again as soon as you say 2. and you start slowly breathing in again. picturing that number 2 on a page or on a screen, just there. and then slowly, as you breathe further in, and further in, as slow as you can, you notice those details, motion, flashing start to come back, and then flood back, and you might lose track of yourself for a second and only notice when you end up at 3, realizing you didn't even notice when you started to breathe out.
that's a lot to think about, i think. you can certainly read it all again if you'd like to make sure you have it straight. however, you don't have to -- the excellent part of this is, you just have to have the idea. you'll stare at the spiral, counting to 25 and breathing in and out with each number, as slowly as you can, and while you're staring at the spiral, try your hardest to imagine the number you're on, written on a page or on a screen, just there. then you can just pay attention to the details of that number until you breathe all the way out and say the next number to yourself.
it's challenging to imagine numbers like this while staring at the center of a spiral also. it's a really interesting experience to have your eyes active with part of your attention while you also try to see something inside yourself. some people experience their eyes getting heavy as soon as they try to picture the number 1, and if you feel that, it's likely your eyes will get heavier with each number. you might either notice or not notice -- you might get to 25 and realize your eyes have been all the way closed for at least a few numbers, or you might notice them closing but the heaviness is too much to resist while you're also trying to count, breathe and notice the details of the numbers. these details can get really interesting -- you can even try imagining running your finger up the long, straight edge of a big number 1, made of hard steel, then around the tip and down to the base. you can imagine throwing a giant, heavy number 2 in a pool where it makes a huge splash. it's up to you really. some people, also, rather than having their eyes get heavy, they have them roll back, and likewise they might notice as it starts to happen, or they might only realize once they get to 25 that their eyes had been rolling. some people have both happen -- especially people who just read me describe both having your eyes get heavy as you count and having them roll back. you might imagine now that neither will happen to you -- that you can count to 25, noticing the details of each digit as you breathe, and stare at the center of the spiral the whole time, without your eyes getting heavier or starting to roll back if your attention slips. you might also imagine, though. if your attention did slip for a second, whether you'd be more likely to feel your eyes getting heavy or more likely to notice them starting to roll back, or if you're someone who, having read all these ideas, which could be called pre-hypnotic suggestions, might because of that feel both things, and only notice when they count 25 that their eyes are closed and rolled back. so what you can do is, when you're looking at the spiral, & you start to count & you start to notice the details of each number as you breathe, try to notice if any of these things happen. and to have even more to think about, try to notice the part of you that notices. what that means is, try to look for which part of yourself actually feels the sensation of noticing something. it's not quite the regular conscious awareness, is it, if you think about it? things you notice seem to hit you instantly, all there at once, like a realization.
paying attention to how you notice things is important, because there is another thing that can happen -- whether you think your eyes might get heavy or you think they would be more likely to start to roll back if your attention slipped from the spiral, that is only one of the ways that your attention can slip. that's your attention slipping away from your active vision, so you're just counting and breathing and imagining & noticing the details of the digits -- your attention can also slip away from counting, if you stare deeply enough into the spiral, or if you've watched one too many "spirals instantly hypnotize you" hypnosis files. then you might just be there staring at the spiral, and you might not notice for a little while that you forgot to keep counting. you might even get "stuck" on the last number that you remembered to count, picturing that number still there in your mind as you breathe in, and out, and in again, the details getting even more intense than they were, incredibly & i might think overpoweringly intense, because the number is just staying there on the page or the screen in your mind, not blinking over to a new number so that noticing the details starts all over again. you're just on that same number and the details keep getting more and more intricate, and everywhere you look inside your mind there are more details to notice. even if you look up or look down and look away from the number you're on, the background itself is swirling with colors and if you look close enough those colors are vibrating and swirling faster and faster the longer you look. if it gets so overwhelming you have to keep looking somewhere else faster and faster, and in just a few moments all you can do is keep looking somewhere new and then the details get too intense to look at in just a few seconds or even a few moments, and you have to look somewhere else again, and again, and again, you can realize that you are hypnotized. if you happen to get stuck on a number -- or you're too curious & you stop counting on purpose to see what happens -- it might take only a few seconds for you to realize you're deeply hypnotized.
and realizing you're hypnotized is an interesting thing. you feel like you've actually woken up from it a little bit. you can notice how your body feels different & test yourself. can you really not open your eyes? are my eyes really rolled back that hard just from imagining these numbers? how is it possible to imagine this much detail in something, changing so fast? is this what an acid trip feels like? how do i stop this? can i get to the next number? what number was next? what number was i on?
here is what you need to do if you forget which number you're on. this is important to remember, because otherwise you might just sit there staring, and if you started over at 1, you might end up in a bit of a loop, losing track somewhere again until you remember to start over. and you can start over if you really like. you can also do this, though -- just check, mentally, if your eyelids are closed, and your eyes are rolled back. if those things are true, then you can simply realize that you're hypnotized deeply already.
so, to repeat myself, because it's very important -- if you realize you've forgotten which number is next, you can simply realize that you are hypnotized.
when you realize that you are hypnotized, i want you to try to open your eyes. if they're too heavy, you can simply think to yourself, "25," and they'll spark right open. and if you get to 25 without losing count, that's what will happen too -- whether your eyes are open or closed, you'll feel a sort of sharp spark at "25" and pay close attention to the first word that comes after the spiral.
that's a lot to read, but really it's simple: click "read more," look at the center of the spiral, count slowly enough to breathe between each number, imagine each number on a page or screen with intricate, moving, vibrating, strobing details everywhere you look, and notice if your eyes start to feel heavy to start to roll back.
1, awake, 2, awake, 3, awake. then go right to the next paragraph after this one. now look back at that word "awake" and the start of this paragraph, and count.
are you awake now? i wouldn't necessarily know. experience in hypnosis quickly shows that there isn't a real line between awake and hypnotized. if you're awake, but still responding to hypnotic suggestions, or still feeling a hypnotically suggested feeling, is part of you still hypnotized? if part of you is hypnotized, does that really mean you're hypnotized? thinking about that hypnotized part of you can quickly remind you of being deeply, profoundly, completely hypnotized, which itself can bring someone back deeply into hypnosis in just a few seconds. in stage hypnosis shows, it's not unusual for someone who was "awakened" to slowly slip back into trance if the hypnotist doesn't say anything at all to them for a few minutes. i've been curious about why this happens, and if i imagine myself being hypnotized on stage, deeply and profoundly, so out that i wasn't even aware of being hypnotized, so out that i can't even remember how i was hypnotized...well, i think i would wonder how i got up on stage here, i would wonder if i was really hypnotized, and then i might start to think about what i could remember, and how i got there. i might think about how i was in the audience & raised my hand and said "i want to be hypnotized." it was pretty direct of me to do that -- it almost didn't feel like me. was i already hypnotized then, and didn't remember? did the hypnotist do an induction on the whole audience, and did it work on me especially? was i there in my seat and as he began, my eyes quickly closed and i was so deeply hypnotized there that i woke up and volunteered for the show without remembering antyhing about it? and then when i was up on the stage, how did i go back into hypnosis? i remember coming up to the stage, and then i was standing staring at the light in the back of the room, and then -- what? i might blink trying to remember what happened next. i might remember that my eyes felt heavy and closed, and then i felt like i was drifting off, and then i noticed i couldn't open my eyes even if i tried, and the harder i tried the tighter they got stuck, and the harder i tried the more they would just roll back, and that proved i was deeply hypnotized.
and while i was thinking about all that, in a chair on the stage, i might feel my eyes getting heavy when i remembered feeling them get heavy, and i might feel them irresistibly start to close when i remembered how heavy they felt, and then i might be there on stage with my eyes closed, trying to open them and remembering how i couldn't, remembering how they would just roll back the harder i tried to open them. and then i might be deeply hypnotized right there, without the hypnotist saying anything. since i knew hypnosis meant deep relaxation, i might start to relax that i melted slowly out of my chair, slipping little by little, thinking about how deeply i was hypnotized and wondering what would happen next.
so i can see how someone who was just hypnotized might enter it again just from wondering how it happened. their thoughts mind wander there after a few minutes even though they're "awake," and then they would be deeply hypnotized again. completely melted and relaxed. once you know about hypnosis, the relaxation feels so incredible that it's always tempting to let it come over you.
at the end of this paragraph, there is a third spiral. you might be aware of it already, becoming more aware of it without looking as you read your way closer and closer to it. when you get there, you can look at the center of that spiral & count to 25 before looking at the next word, as you did with the first one. or you can make your eyes skip past the spiral, going to the next word and focusing on it like you did before. either way, right now, take a deep breath, and relax, imagining that you're deeply hypnotized at the end of a hypnosis show, about to blink and look around and stretch. now --
It's understandable when you think about it, so much of hypnosis is about stripping away choice isn't it? Stripping away independence, and thought, reducing a subject to an open, suggestible state, if you think about it for a moment, turn you into a puppy with those restraints is much easier isn't it? Puppies tend toward obedience, puppies tend toward trest rewards, it makes it so much easier to be a puppy, so much more agreeable, cats are much more independent, aren't they? Cats are more fickle, cats are harder to control, cats are willfull things aren't they? Cats are also playful things, fluffy, gentle, soft things, the way a cat arches her back when you stroke her, pushing your spine into that gentle caress, a warm, soft, playful thing, in fact, once a cat is in the right frame of mind, when you feel relaxed, when you feel calm, warm and soft, it's easy to picture a cats life isn't it? Being a good kitty, being loved, stroked, caressed, arching your back into that touch, revelling as your owners fingers slip into your hair, the feeling of that gentle pressure on your scalp, you might even find yourself starting to purr, those warm, soft, gentle strokes, calming you down, its so much easier it isn't it? The life of a cat, a tamed predator, strong, independent, but also safe, warm and soft, collared and caressed, warm and relaxed, thinking about it, how a cat lives on all fours, how thats perfectly natural for a good kitty, to be down on all fours, it feels so submissive as a human doesn't it? But so natural for a good kitty, natural to go down, easier to go down, down on all fours, much a natural, pretty kitty, sinking down, down to your nature, so much easier as a kitty, so many big, complex thoughts that you don't need as a kitty, it's natural for them to fade away, natural to fade as you go down, down into your nature, down to all fours, arching your back, showing off your tail, warm, soft and relaxed, just a happy, pretty, kitty, collared and soft warm and suggestible, safe and calm, it's so much easier as a cat, so much simpler, so much more natural.
the goal with writing about hypnosis like that is to make the hypnosis parts not so heavy handed that my non-hypnosub audience doesn't find them annoying while still making them explicit enough that my hypnosub audience has fun playing along with them.

Because the snowstorm, the dorm's power is out, as well as Wifi
This is the part where I use that as an excuse to ask for recommended Hypnotist's files to listen to, specifically kitten play ones (Generic works as well).
Because during the blackout is the perfect time to ask instead of the literal entire day where I was told that there might be a blackout

My first response to Spoiled, Bratty Snow Leopard hybrid complaining about the thread count was “They’re my sheets! If you don’t like them, why don’t you buy me some new ones?!”
HE WOULD THO!
He'd be half way through dialing his assistant to bring him some of the spare sheets from his own bed to your apartment, lord knows he's not getting off your bed till they get here, huffs as he rolls off and taps his foot as he watches this assistant change your sheets.
Tells them to bring two more sets bought fresh in two other colours, and a full set in black, shooing them out of the apartment before flopping onto the much better sheets.
Purring and kneading happily as he stretches, blinking slowly at you as he waits for you to thank him for upgrading your sheets, even though it was mostly for his own gain. The thick fluffy of his tail wraps around one of the pillows on your bed, intentionally rubbing as much of his scent on everything as he does.
A guardian angel that can't understand why they have to keep you of all humans safe, manifesting physically to force you to dye/bleach your hair the same bone white their wings are, ignoring the flicker of a crack in the halo as they hold your face in one large hand, squishing your cheeks as they make you watch for the full development time how your hair changes.
Cooing and warbling with something like the sin of pride as they wash the stuff from your hair, condescension dripping from their words as you sputter and cry asking them why they are doing this.
Only to look you over and click their tongue as they tell you that they can almost see their image in you now.

"And most of my fics are done on my PC, but it is inconvenient. The chair is uncomfortable, I have some issues looking at that screen too long, and I want to write in the living room."
Oh my god bro LISTEN TO YOURSELF. The chair is uncomfortable? You don't like looking at the screen? You're begging for comms on main because you don't want to write in the living room? Champagne problems. You want us to feel bad for you but all you're doing is whining. Some fic writers on here will put out 10k - 12k pieces on their phones. Just because you can't figure out a way to do it more efficiently doesn't mean it's impossible or difficult. Loser.
