What problem does it solve? Do you understand that people draw for fun? Do you think people play sports just because? No they play them because they enjoy them,but of course you won't be able to comprehend being able to even run without being out of breath. Is there any skill? Do you learn something while making Ai art? Do you think artists just waste their time drawing because it's something they were programmed to do? Do you honestly think that something that is soulless and is unloved is able to hold any value to someone? Because ai art isn't something to be proud of, you give it a prompt and it is made,yet with real art—Human art,made with human struggle,human intuition and human skill—You can look back,you can look back and be proud,you can see growth,not only in yourself but in your skill. Ai art is not skillful,it is merely stolen, soulless images presented to the prompter by obligation,while art? Art isn't just skill,it's emotion,it's culture,it's history, it's life,you have the essence of life in your hands; creativity,yet you waste it promoting imitations of life that will never hold up to real,talented art.
FYI I do not care if you are offended by this,I am nothing more than a beginner,yet I still have improved profoundly since the start of my art journey. Once,I was painting a scene of me and my childhood best friend just sitting together for her birthday party,But I subconsciously chose a wheat field,I had no idea why but it felt so good to paint,I asked my mom if we had ever been to one and she said when I was like 5 or something we visited my grandparents farm every few months,that's where I met her.
Now does Ai suddenly become sentient to make the background sentimental? No,it doesn't. It doesn't care if it creates a pile of human shit,hell the person who gave the prompt doesn't give a shit too, because they're too up their own ass to admit that that dumpster fire is utter dogshit.
