I love trying to have a conversation after Thinking About Black Sails for a while because it's like rolling up just covered in blood and Parallels and trying to be normal. trying to talk about soup or whatever but you've got Themes in your socks and they keep poking you. yeah I'm here I'm present but I've got freaking Narrative all over my hands--

The no pets rule doesn’t extend to plants, so Izzy keeps a Venus fly trap in his room that he cares for. He’s named each of the snapping heads, and he moans about his day to the plant at night time while he waters it and checks it soil. It’s thriving.
