i think the first thing that comes to mind is that they are both believers, which means they can sometimes meet within church services! (i guess??) don't think many students go there, so the two of them will still be noticeable to each other. but i also think Florián is kind of biased towards her at first because she's a bullworth student and he's a townie and all that, y'know. they don't even have any mutual friends from the cliques!

they're both awkward, though. so they have a lot of small talks on the market, or maybe church (?), until it becomes comfortable enough. she's probably telling him the latest news from her school, interfering with his work, maybe even annoying him a little, keeps poking at him with "you're soo moody today/why the long face" and stuff like that.

Claire doesn't mind his accent, they might as well argue over which one of them has the stronger one, haha.

if they're lucky and they can hang out somewhere while no one else is around, she'll definitely be interested in skateboarding, it's looks cool. Florián shows her something, wow she likes it, she's impressed! Claire tries to repeat something simple after him, wow, what a failure! but they can laugh at each other. They could also find common interests in music also.

Basic

- Claire is a native German, spent her entire childhood in a small town like Bacharach;

- the family is above the average level, the mother is a lawyer, the father works in the real estate industry;

- she comes to America only for the period of study, every holidays and breaks she flies back to her family in Munich;

- besides her, the family has an older brother, who lives in America, so he visits his little crumb from time to time (she's a little embarrassed of him);

- the whole family is religious, although no one fits into the perfect picture.

Bullworth Academy

- how did a girl like Claire end up in Bullworth? well, it's kind of a common thing in her family, her grandfather, then father, and then brother studied there, so she doesn't break the chain;

- in general terms, she's a gray mouse at the academy, unsightly, so others often don't pay much attention to her;

- so, not her problem that the other students around her open their mouths too much, she makes great use of it, casually spreading random rumors, that she finds interesting, to christy or angie;

- though she tries to be kind and friendly with some, she doesn't have many friends.

Some details

- she smells weirdly, either of church candles, or of incense, which she is trying to cover with perfume;

- the lower eyelids are red from crying a lot or being allergic to blossoming.

- in fact, Claire loves being an observer of quarrels and fights, the whole thing somehow mesmerizes her;

- daydreams a lot and is not very confident in dealing with guys, besides some;

- she can be found hanging around the church where she goes every Sunday and volunteers.
