Since my little asSisterant @choircutie and I also sing in the River City Mixed Chorus together we try and make it a habit of taking pre-show selfies. And while usually I like my photos in color to show the pink of my hair, I hate lipstick yet force myself to wear it for shows, therefore it was dictated that B&W would be more appropriate. Medical Cannabis has a mascot here in Omaha! I spent part of my birthday down on 72nd and Dodge for a Cannabis rally (my birthday is 4/20)! Personally I have degenerative disk disease (I've had 4 back surgeries including a 3lvl fusion!), chronic insomnia, depression, anxiety, and chronic nausea/lack of appetite (caused by the pills). I use to take over 10 different legal prescription medications to manage all my symptoms and my docs were always ready to throw more pills at me. It wasn't until I stopped all the meds and switched to a healthier alternative that I was able to get my life back. I function like a semi-normal human with no side effects or sleepiness (like prescriptions caused) for the first time in over 9 years and it's all because I took control of my life and stopped blindly popping pills! Do I trust doctors, NO! Do I trust my state legislature to finally approve LB 622 allowing for medical cannabis in the state of Nebraska? NO! For a pharmaceutical company and doctors it is much more profitable to have me on 10+ daily pills and monthly doc appoints. That is the ONLY reason it's still illegal as a medication.
