This is inspired by the TikTok going viral recently, and because of this tweet. Written in 20 minutes at 12am so hope you enjoy this mess!!

Recently Sam, much to Dean’s chagrin, became obsessed with the app TikTok. 

Dean had no idea how or why but all of a sudden, his brother had delved into the world of short, funny videos; a world he then lived for the next several weeks. Dean heard all about it of course and had seen far too many videos for him to possibly enjoy. Sure, some of them were hilarious, Dean could see the comedic value. Others… Dean just couldn’t understand. 

Everyday, when Dean spotted Sam, his younger brother had his eyes glued to his phone. Dean supposed it was a nice change of pace from finding Sam with his head buried in a book.

However, Dean did not expect Sam to start making them. He especially didn’t expect Sam to rope him and Cas into it as well.

Castiel was in 15 episodes this season!

The shortest episode screentime was 13x05 (14 seconds) and the longest being 13x06 (20.82 minutes).

Castiel’s total screentime in the first half of the season totalled 40.63 minutes in 6 episodes out of 410 total minutes aired in 10 episodes. 5 out of the 6 episodes had screentimes of less than 10 minutes.

Two of those episodes had screentimes of less than 1 minute (13x03 & 13x05) and 13x01, which featured dead Castiel, had a screentime of 1.98 minutes. All 3 of these episodes had zero lines spoken.

13x04 had a screentime of 7.23 minutes.

13x07 had a screentime of 9.8 minutes.

13x12 was 6.4 minutes

13x13 & 14 were both 15.47 minutes

Scoobynatural (13x16) beat the finale in screen time (19.47 minutes) and was the 2nd longest screen time for the season.

13x18 was 11.73 minutes

13x19 was 14.38 minutes

13x21 was 18.23 minutes

13x22 was 10.38 minutes

13x23 was one of the shortest for screen time with a total of 9.92 minutes. It also featured the fewest spoken lines at 13 total.

The Angel of the Lord also spent half of the Michael fight passed out and said 2 lines. The 10-minute long scene stayed in one room but featured Cas for less than 2 minutes.

He was not in the final fight and had zero lines in the last 8 minutes of the episode with a total screen time of 16 seconds.

Castiel’s total screen time for Season 13 was….

162.08 minutes or 2.7 hours.

In comparison, the entire season had a total 943 minutes or 15.72 hours aired. Although our angel was in 15/23 episodes, he only accounted for roughly 17% of the season.
