transandrophobia is specifically a term to describe the way a fear of men & masculinity (especially in queer spaces) harms trans men/mascs.

it's not a blanket term for transphobia experienced by trans men/mascs.

Transandrophobia -> Being told that testosterone or embracing masculinity makes you inherently more dangerous, evil, & an oppressor.

Transphobia -> Getting dead named, misgendered, or affected by anti-trans bans & legislation.

Not technically transandrophobia based on the original definition, but maybe the definition can be broadened to encompass unique trans masc oppression such as -> Getting denied gynecology care because your gender marker says male, even though you still have a vagina & other organs that require this care.

The first demonizes masculinity & falls into gender essentialism. The second is transphobia experienced by most all trans people. The third describes a specific form of medical discrimination trans mascs face, but it doesn't stem from the fear or demonization of men/masculinity. It's instead a result of transphobia & a lack of acknowledgement of trans men/mascs and our healthcare needs, but this is also an issue that other trans people don't typically face (though I'm sure intersex people have similar experiences like this).

please know the difference and use the terms appropriately. I think it's fine for the definition to evolve, but try to keep the distinction of transandrophobia focused on trans masc specific transphobia & oppression instead of non-specific transphobia.

You could also say that we should use the term anti-transmasculinity in reference to situations like example 2, and leave transandrophobia for instances specific to its original definition. I'm not for or against this, but I thought I'd mention it cus someone brought it up in the comments.

Yeah no it turns out she's apparently completely fine with funneling money towards someone who abused five other trans women and as far as I'm aware has given no indication that she's changes in the years since (her shit 'apology')

I swear this clique of trans women is as good at defending trans women as fascists are at defending the homeland (actively counterproductive)
