No Worries

I sit here watching a line blink on the white page. Awaiting my thoughts to pour out. I'm feeling nostalgic.

There are certain moments in my life that I tell myself to remember this moment. So one day later on down the road you can look back and reflect and think about how much has changed.& How much I have (hopefully) improved myself. 

I am now a senior in college and that scares me. The whole getting old thing is happening. I remember when I was younger it felt like I would never see this day. Yet, here it is. And it's just now starting. So before I know it, it will have passed. Time needs to slow down again. Back to the way it was when I was a kid. When a summer day would last for what felt like an lifetime. Christmas would always drag its heels and never came soon enough.

Now, I cannot believe it is already August. Wasn't the world just about to end or something?

I feel I lose a lot of time through the redundancy of life. The same get up, go to work/school, come home, repeat lifestyle is not the one I want to live. Although, I will admit at times, it is comforting to have some redundancy. But not too much. I only have one life. I only have one chance to make it what I want. Yet I don't know how long I will have to complete that goal. I don't want to leave this world without making my mark on it in some way. & so far I haven't really done a good enough job of that. I've not wasted, but spent, 21 years of my life in Florida. I hope in 21 more years I can say I've been everywhere. I want to see this beautiful rock that we fly on in space.
