Why do so many people not realise that a big part of an irrational phobia is the irrational part
Like believe it or not, telling me (a germaphobe) that in Indonesia people don’t really care about double dipping (something my dad has said to me many times when I tell him not to double dip, knowing that my germaphobia is so bad I’ve gone without meals before because I can’t eat off plates/cutlery my brain sees as dirty) genuinely isn’t going to change my fucking brain chemistry about you double dipping.
Or like “oh but they’re harmless” when I have a fear of moths. I am very aware that moths are harmless. Do you genuinely think that this is going to be new information to me. Oh wow thank you so much, until this point my fear of moths was based on my belief that they were trying to kill me but now that you’ve cleared that up I’m no longer having a panic attack and it makes so much more sense why no one else is scared of moths

Totally normal for a legitimate for-profit company to refuse to reclaim or stop running their products even after they're no longer being paid to do so. I'm sure it's very normal to just keep running your service for free when your contract's been terminated. Spending money to continue running cameras that supposedly no one is looking at is definitely not an indicator they are just run by the federal government to spy on everyone and only a wacko conspiracy theorist would think so.
Tf!Scott and Tf!Ambear’s entire conversation about anger was awesome actually.
Ambear came to Scott, admitted that whenever she saw guards and thought of bandits she felt angry, and Scott *validated* her feelings instead of shutting her down. She has a right to be angry! She has a right to be furious about what happened to her and she’s not a bad person for feeling the way she does towards guards and bandits. That she’s not evil for not wanting to talk to bandits first like others have been saying to do and she also does not have to feel bad for those who hurt her.
Scott gave Ambear an honest perspective on how he views anger. As something that doesn’t necessarily go away, but can be like grief in a sense. Can lessen overtime, and come back in waves when something reminds you of it. That it’s a natural emotion to feel and can act as a protector of sorts. That there are ways to properly deal with anger instead of stewing in it and letting it burn through you in unhealthy ways.
Ambear was afraid of how others would react if she admitted just how angry she was, but I think this talk with Scott released some of the pressure on her heart despite the circumstances. That ultimately it’s completely ok to feel how she feels.

Something, something, I made a bunch of AUs of Cambam.
In the overarching au of Forever Minecraft, where cc are still storytellers but there are home worlds, hubs, etc (I think this is more common in the Hermitcraft fandom)- Anyway, these are set in a time before Cam met Scott, which in turn means he hasn't met their friends yet.
And I personally imagine that he is with everyone else in Bannerfall in these aus, but minus Scott, El, Bek, Apo, Martyn, and Owen- the people who are more new to POW, and Cherri.
There are 3, so far: Circuit, Shulk, and Angel.
I mean, beyond the Vampire SMP au.
Circuit
Circuit is Electric superhero Cambam! Superhero school, the only one so far that is keeping to the theme that I want of these aus, where they are more academic based (because this man is getting a PhD, and I wanted to incorporate that)
Sadly, this is the newest one and it lacks inspiration so not as many details as some of the others. Cambam has his flirty, awkward personality here. His hero costume is yellow and purple.
"Shulk"
This is set in more medieval times, more stereotypical fantasy type beat. Cambam is the scholar best friend of the prince, he mostly stayed at the castle and studied (aka to be in character AND do studying for his actual classes). He is awkward, happy to be there and please, do not touch him. Do not hit him, joke or not, just don't. Most accepted this as just a quirk of his, and it was only seen as such until the finale:
Maybe bandit raid, maybe it was a joke gone bad, whatever happened... Everyone was forced to regret it.
The second Cam got to half a heart, everything went black.
Or was it dark teal? As shulk poured out of his open wounds, and encased him, wrecking revenge on everyone and anyone that had ever harmed him. Eventually, it stopped, not by anyone taking the monster down, but from its job, finishing. The shulk retreated, uncovering an unconscious Cambam, and it stayed at his wounds. It only left once the injury was healed.
Once, Cam opened his eyes and sat up, all he sat was a blur of red as his ears remained deafened. (He was stabbed in the ear... Who stabs in the ears??) Shulk migrated over to a random patch of land, only to move back to the blonde... It placed the, albeit broken, glasses back on his face.
The blurs turned to destruction and blood. The little scholar curled up into his painless legs, cried. He hates how this all happened again. He hates how he'll never be free from his merciless protection.
Angel
In a world of Angels versus Demons, Angel Cambam couldn't believe that he would have to one day turn his blade onto his fellow angels.
This au was inspired by the line "Then I learned it rained in Hell, and that angels can be bad"
After the discovery of the blackenings of wings, the falling of angels isn't depending on morality, but of whoever's highest ranking and their feelings, Cam knows that he will soon lose the wings and will be forced to walk, forever more. However, that never came to fruition.
Cambam ended up victorious, him and a very few others. His hair no longer kept perfect, his tie undone, and his hand painted with blood.
The other hand had a blue orchid tied around it. The angel had no real reasoning for having one. However, the storyteller did. It matched a certain someone and upon seeing it, he couldn't help but not take it with him. It was too early in the relationship to take his jacket.
