Let's say I really wanted to reduce the number of children who die in car accidents. Car accidents are really bad, right? Nobody disagrees about that. And it would be much better for both the environment and the kids' health if they spent more time walking, or taking the bus. Perfectly reasonable. More cars off the road, safer roads, fewer kids getting hurt, healthier kids. A win-win!

if you make a joke that doesn't land with the other autistic person, do you explain what you meant with understanding of why they missed your joke or do you start mocking them for not being able to 'tell' or accuse them of intentionally misunderstanding you?
do you recognize the massive size of the autism spectrum and that two autistic people can be very different and you should both be taking steps to understand each other and you don't get to get out of that by claiming you have it 'worse' than them?
do you attempt to speak over high support needs autistic people? or perhaps a better way to phrase that: do you consider them when you talk about autistic people on the whole? "as an autistic person" who are you speaking for here?
have you ever had an autistic person tell you that they have a particular need due to their autism that you don't have? have you listened to that person's perspective or did you laugh and say "that's not a thing and i know because i'm autistic"?
is it safe for other autistic people to fail around you? is it safe for them to make mistakes around you? is it safe for them to do things in your vicinity that may make you uncomfortable but are not harmful? will you treat other autistic people as your allies and your friends or do you treat them like competition?
