             at    his    voice    that    bounces   off    of    the    walls    in    their    home  ,  her     movements     freeze    and    the    brush    in    her    left    hand    is    placed    down    on    the    walnut    wooden   floor  .    her    brown    eyes    go    over    her    unfinished    work  ,  the    strokes    and    colors  ,   on    the    base    kitchen    cabinet    in    her    office    before    she’s    rushing    downstairs    to    join    her    son     and     the    problem    that    is    waiting    for    her .    paint    covered    hands    rest    on    his    shoulders  ,    both    to    let    him    know   that   she’s    here   and    to    calm   him   down .         ❛           have you never seen a man in love ?   ❜
