I'm enchanted and terrified

Yes, fellow Gravity Falls fans, today I am here to bring to you a brand-new theory that’ll blow your mind:

I believe that Mabel Pines has a secret twin brother.

Tumblr user  penworthy seems to agree with my idea.

Now, you might be scoffing and wondering, “Where’s the evidence for this ludicrous claim?”

Well, in my frame-by-frame investigations of the series, I’ve discovered that this twin brother (whom I’ve nicknamed “Mabie”) is actually everywhere, if one looks closely enough.

Just look at this screencap from the very first episode, “Tourist Trapped”:

There, right next to Mabel! Peculiar, isn’t it?

But that’s not all! Check out this screencap from episode eight, “Irrational Treasure.” Who’s that behind Stan?

That’s right, folks, a cleverly hidden Mabie.

So, what’s the story here?

Was Mabie sent to Gravity Falls years ago and now stalks Mabel to try and warn her of the dangers of the town? Is he Mabel’s counterpart from some sort of alternate reality?
