-Nino Lahiffe and Marinette Dupain Cheng.
-They are both STUPID RICH.
-and also theyāre neighbors
-loosely saying that because they have huge estates so theyāre not actually that close in proximity to each other lol
-the Dupain Cheng bakery is their small home, where they started and thatās what they put as Mariās address so itās less suspicious than a huge mansion and estate
-same with Nino and his small house
-their parents are really well known
-But since they donāt go in public a lot with their parents, and when they do they disguise themselves, their friends donāt know that.
-They have last names they use at school so they donāt draw suspicion and are both a lot quieter at school.
-their parents have to disguise themselves to go to their school events.
-People know Marinette wants to be a fashion designer but they donāt know sheās already interning under her parentās baked goods and manufacturing company to create a fashion division.
-Nino is doing the same thing, but convinced his mom to let him head a record label under the companyās name instead.
-they are bffs, NOT DATING
-Gabriel Agreste has two sons, Felix Agreste and Adrien Agreste.
-Felix and Adrien both know they are just as wealthy and high in social class as them.
-Gabriel, however, does not.
-The two often wonder how long itās going to to take him to realize that they are also well off.
-Adrien got his obliviousness from somewhere, and that somewhere is his dad.
-they got dropped off in a limo, Marinette wears a diamond encrusted necklace, Nino buys out a pizza place for one of their sleepovers.
-nothing. He is just that dumb oblivious.
-Nino and Adrien? Maybe besties, maybe boyfs?
-either way, they spend so much time together and love each other (platonic or romantic)
-Adrien sometimes wishes his dad did the same thing Nino and Mariās parents did, so he wouldnāt have to be in the spotlight.
-Felix doesnāt care.
-he is good friends (maybe more???) with Mari, and would call Nino a friend.
-the only time they heard him laugh, as in a real, honest-to-goodness laugh, was when he found out how Nino and Mari were betting on how long it would take for his father to figure them out.
-no miraculous au! Gabrielās just a non super powered bad father!
-Emilie is aliveeeee
-she is just often off shooting movies and such, so the twins spend most of their time with Nathalie and the Gorilla their wonderful totally competent father at home :)
-back to the watermelon children.
-they donāt like to show off the expensive stuff they own at school
-feels kind icky and show offish, which isnāt their style (usually. They are willing to make an exception for Gabriel and certain other things)
-so so so so
-their parents want to finally launch the fashion division and the record label, and since the watermelon kids created them, their faces get REVEALED
-Marinette wears this beautiful puffy dress that hits to just above her knees. Itās layers of pretty scarlet tulle with spaghetti straps and a maroon bow around the waist. She also wears these pretty tan chunky heels with a strap around the ankle. Red sapphire earrings and matching necklace because YES
-Nino is the causal boy, so heās wearing a white v neck, black slacks and an deep green blazer. He had to wear a pair of black oxfords because his mom said no sneakers so...
-they made quite the pair
-their pictures end up plastered EVERYWHERE.
-Marinette and Nino walk into school the Monday after the announcement at the joint gala
-oh yeah this was announced at a GALA ooh.
-and oh no this class
-yes Lila is here but sheāll be addressed in a different post
-they are shaken to their cores
-not Adrien or Felix though, obviously.
-or Kim. He met those two when he was little, they had told him years ago. Even though they werenāt bffs anymore, they still talked and it was nice to spend time with a normal family who KNOWS.
-Mari comes into school with more high fashion outfits on occasion (she sometimes wants to test out if people react well to the concepts of her line, so sheāll wear what she calls her āInspo Outfitā. Itās an outfit that is inspired by the idea of a line, like a mood board but an outfit.
-Nino finds a lot of teens who he thinks could be the next Big Thing.
-honestly, they just vibe.
- maybe Mari and Felix get together at some point idk
-or they are all just the best of friends and are basically some of the most influential teens in the world.
-side note, theyāre all 16/17 years old.
-in lycee, and their class is pretty much the same except Chloe is homeschooled and Sabrina is in a different class, so Marc Anciel and Felix take their spots.
