Thank you! I always admire folks who are willing to go out padded in public. I wish I had the nerve to do it :/ I've thought about doing a trial run of just driving around but I'd have to get in my car and pad somewhere else and that's too nerve-wracking to consider.

I HAVE considered it, I just need to get a sturdy pair. All the ones I have are pretty flimsy.

Have you considered actually gaining? The padding looks good on you, why not commit?

A few reasons: One, I'm AFAB and not on hormones, so the weight distribution wouldn't be the same. Two, I'm already pre-diabetic and I don't wanna push it to full diabetes (which I know isn't guaranteed but it's a risk I don't want to take). Three, I'm content with it just being a fantasy for now.

So I did do some productive stuff and then I donned the giant pad. I didn't take measurements but the jeans are a 54" waist and the shirt is a 5XL.

Please excuse my cluttered-ass apartment. One of these days I will either un-clutter it or I'll have the skill/patience to blur out the background.

I think this was my biggest pad to date. I didn't take measurements bc I would've had to tape together two measuring tapes (wow that's a sentence) but it was legitimately difficult to move around. I had to remove part of the belly in order to button these jeans and the only reason they were able to do that is bc I didn't have much of an ass.

Had to modify it slightly after a couple hours bc the belly was so unwieldy and also hung weird. And still had no fitting shirts – this one's a fucking 3XL!

OK I found my other 3XL shirt, it's a bit longer and does cover my belly a bit better.

Also, in case you are wondering about the padding tutorial(s): since Tumblr only allows 10 images per post, I'm either going to have to break it up into several posts or collage some images together. Probably both since the number of images I have for the necessary supplies is 20, and I think breaking that into two posts seems like a bad idea.

Also the only one I have images for as of now is legs, so torso and full-body will wait until hopefully January or February 2026.
