and this is one of many reasons why i can't root for someone else on that grid besides max. bc, for better or worse, everything is about max in this sport, and the moment someone has a glimpse (in contrast to max's achievements) of success here, this driver is claimed as the one who is going to be THE rival of max's verstappen or THE next max verstappen. even tho, they haven't done anything extraordinary to prove it, while max shows year after year that he's the best to ever do it, only for people to drag his name through the mud the very second he has a streak of bad luck
