i could be reaching here but i find it interesting how the male drivers in F3 and F2 are all clearly undereducated in even the most basic topics, while several of the women in f1 academy and in other race series are very openly pursuing higher education and continued education often in some form of engineering and i just think that goes to show how 1. their positions as drivers are not secure and they need to find other financial avenues while in motorsport and 2. how they need and are expected to have a higher level of understand of engineering and motorsport than their male counterparts
