The silence is deafening. The moment Sam and Steve left your table to give you and Bucky some time alone, you two have been quiet. You thanked the food for being there, because at least you have an excuse to not talk, as you constantly fill your mouth with whatever's in front of you.
And then Bucky decided to break it. With a cough. Or so you thought... before you realized that he actually choked on something. Your eyes widened and you immediately gave him your water, he downs it immediately and fortunately, he calmed down after a few seconds.
And then the two of you just laughed. Like actually laughed. Mouths agape, and with the littlest tear on your eyes.
"You looked stupid," You said as sat back down on your chair.
"Says the person who thought I was just coughing for attention."
And there again, the table was once again filled with laughter. It took a few minutes to die down. And you decided to break the silence this time.
"Yeah, you looked surprised earlier." He teased, a small smirk on his face.
"Well, up until earlier I really thought you were a catfish or something! And I'm sorry for that!"
"That's alright. Can't blame you. I am more handsome than how I act."
"And what do you mean by that?!" You asked smacking his head lightly. "Your personality is fine as fuck too, you just won't admit it."
"Fine, as in asshole fine?"
"No? More like perfectly fine."
"Mr. Perfectly Fine is an asshole," Bucky rolls his eyes and you find yourself smiling at the reference.
"Taylor Swift huh," You said and downed the remaining of your beverage, then you leaned back in your chair. "I was so surprised to see you."
"Like a good surprise or bad stuff...?"
"A mix of both," You said and shrugged. "You're fine, I was just damned you didn't meet me in my best dress."
"What are you saying? You look like you're the best and wearing the best in my eyes, doll." He says and smiles at you
"Flattery will get you everywhere, Babe."
"That's good to hear then," He says and smiles, patting your head right after. "What do you say about going on a tour?"
He laid one of his hands out for you, and you shrugged.
