Not to be an old head myself, but I think it's pretty awesome that I have had the honor of having the opportunity to watch the likes of Christen Press, Tobin Heath, Alex Morgan, Kelley O'Hara, Alyssa Naeher, Ali Krieger, Megan Rapinoe, Abby Wambach, and continue list here, all build the game into what it is today. Watched them pioneer for women in soccer and fight for equal pay. From 360p YouTube streams, if you were lucky to nationally, broadcasted matches. They started when the game was practically unknown, and truthfully, they are leaving the game 10x better than when they found it.

This part just absolutely killed me. All of the incredible goals and moments on the field, her insane skill, the ease with which she played. And now she can’t run in a straight line.
