[Oh no. Tiny child. Boxes. Tiny child. Boxes filled with magic drugs that make your eyes set things on fire (themselves, to be precise) if you sneeze too hard. Illegal in pretty much all the countries, three different other planes of existence, and very, very fun to give to a “friend” when they’re having a cold and you know they’re the ones who sold your favourite mugs.
But that’s not the problem. The problem? CHILD. CHILD WANT HOLD THINGS. It’d be fine if she, say, opened it, the shit was made to look like containers of oregano. But you never know who can see through that kind of shit and when they’ll decide to take a fuckin’ peek. And what happens to people who let kids carry drugs for them?]
Oh, nah, I got these ones. However..!
[Not finding out today. Nope. Instead, he locates the One(1) box that is not, in fact, chock full of super-pinkeye-leafs, but rather yet another mini wizard statue that looked a little different from the sixty-three other mini wizard statues he’s hoarded and therefore is interesting enough to pilfer. The box is fairly big compared to the wizard’s proportions; most of the empty space is filled with foam peanuts.]
You look big an’ strong, can I entrust you with a really, super important mission?
[He slowly scoots the box out, wheezing and heaving to make it look like he’s pushing against a fucking car rather than a one-pound box of nerdiness and tomfoolery.]
I– phew, hold on. [BREATHE. WHEEZE.] Can you carry this one for me? I have to get it over there. [He points to exactly five feet away, where a relatively neat looking rock lay in wait. Not too far away, but enough of a task to make the kid feel like hero of the year.]
[She blinks as she watches the man with the boxes struggle to push the singular box. It doesn’t look nearly as big as the bigger box - but frankly she’s convinced that this is one heavy box.
There is a glittering in her eyes filled with a childish determination. She loves being helpful and feeling helpful.]
Okay! You can count on me, Mister! I won’t let you down!
[She picks up the box with some effort - almost falls with it considering there’s quite a lot of wizards in this one box, but finally goes on to lift it with the strength she harbors in her small stature. She puffs her cheeks full of air as she carefully walks with the box to set it down where the delivery man asks her to.
She pumps herself up as she manages to get the box in place, and calls out to him.]
