I’m so lost. And depressed. I’ve been going out with friends to hide it and trying so hard to work past it but my life and my happiness is crumbling down around me and I can’t deal. Update! (7/16/18)

She’s home, I’ve named her Pickle, and vet appointment is Monday. She seems to be doing well aside from fleas. She took her bottle reluctantly but won’t eliminate. :( I’ll keep trying.

So long story short, she was outside and the choices were; put her back (she had wandered away from mom) and hope mom got to her before the 100F+ heat or dehydration did, take her home, or let someone put her down.

Obviously we know what choice I went with, so viola! She will live with me until I can get her into a forever home. I hope she does well, she’s very small and vulnerable.

Mom is a calico too, everyone’s trying to catch her to fix her but she’s been tricky, apparently. :( Really hope we can get her because this is her third litter, at least.

Day 5 and the PT test

So, C and I have been low carb for almost a week, and I’m already noticing huge changes. I feel great, I’m standing up straighter and walking faster

Tonight, instead of doing our regular work out, we took a page from C’s military background and decided figure out what our baseline is with a PT test. Do each exercise for a minute and see how many reps you can do. Here’s where I landed

Pushups: 11

Sit-ups: 19

Squats: 26

Jumping jacks: 42

I know it may not seem like much to some of you 4 hour a day meat heads whose blood is made of protein shake, but it’s a hell of a start for me and I’m proud of myself!

Day 2 of low carb.

I don’t remember what day it is of us starting to work out but we are both feeling pretty good! We are starting the morning off a little heavy carb with an egg and chorizo burrito. Low carb tortilla of course. I truly enjoy being low carb because it makes me feel really good, and it’s the only thing I’ve tried that really works for me.
