After all, the show is about us trying to figure out our lives as a mystery, a plot, a beginning that precedes an ending, a meaningful line of deeds, when the ground's been taken away from us and there's no convention, there are no words that can grasp the enormity of the things that are happening. If this is a world where no one understands anything, why would we, the viewers, understand something of the so-called plot? The religious air is there but only as longing - or calamity - most probably both. Is it the last days? Is it doom? It'd be too easy to say yes, it is. The world keeps spinning, life goes on, show must continue - all these taglines mean nothing when people don't know if there is a God or if there isn't, when it doesn't even matter at the point everything is falling apart. The fact is nothing is understandable - but humans are trying to understand. That's the greatness of the show so far - the overwhelming emotion of it too.
