Or how Stonehenge would have already been ruins when Jesus walked the earth or how Oxford University is older than the Aztec Empire or how Anne Frank and MLK were born in the same year like man this it’s all so crazy

I understand that shows are on some kind of level and also barns that do organize these events but 1000$ for an entry? Are you kidding me?! Horse riding should keep on the fancy level but not like this. Every child that loves horses should be able to afford his passion, to appreciate theses gorgeous creature to have a connection. Not constantly worry about being able to afford cheapest saddle pads and vet for sick horse.

It’s not $1000 for an entry. It’s $1000 for the entire bill. And yeah I’ve gone to a rated show (in Texas) and that price is inflated. Granted my barn doesn’t use grooms and we weren’t there the whole week but my bill was about half that (however, I did only training classes so the entry fees were cheaper but still the junior jumper from my barn didn’t pay all that much more than me and she entered in the prix too).

^ I go the that show (Flintridge) and the bill usually comes out to 2000. But that includes the training, tailoring, and grooming fees... It's insanely expensive and waaaaaay overpriced
