just got asked "are you r-slur?" by my friends dad all bc i was excited over my chicken n stars soup and was like "did you know they put stars in my soup?! :D" i dont understand how this fucker can seem so progressive, like such a good person, and still be holding on to a slur that wouldve been used against him, his kids, and his loved ones to validate shoving them in abusive, tortuous institutions not even 15 years ago. how many times are me, my partner, and his son (mine and my partners best friend) going to have to tell him that that fucking word is a slur and he shouldnt fucking say it. grown ass almost 50 year old man cant let go of his emotional support slur ig.
