"Not since…you know."  He wouldn’t mention Allison’s death aloud again.  He was too overwhelmed with guilt from it to actually talk about it with Derek, of all people.  "I can tell him you dropped by though if he calls?"

Derek hadn't really thought of Allison's death, not that he would really. He cared that she died sure but Allison wasn't important to him. He knew Scott and probably Stiles weren't going to be over it any time soon. He could relate to Scott since he lost his first love, Paige. "Eh no, don't worry about it. I'll find him."

"You wish."

                   "Yeah -- but you seem lonely. I mean not yourself.."

"I’m not Scott’s keeper or his Alpha," Stiles reminded Derek.  He stared at the other wolf for a moment, then sighed.  "Official Pack business we can’t share with Stiles again?"

 "Yeah, but you guys are tied by the hip." Derek muttered a response before hearing the sigh. His nose twitched a little and he shrugged. "Not really. It wasn't anything to worry about, Stiles."

 "Calm down, Stiles. It was the first one. Well... not really. I don't have any bad news and I was actually looking for Scott. I just assumed since you and him are practically tied by the hip I'd come find you."

"Not even close." Narrowing her eyes, the blonde tried to remember something. Anything really. And there was a whole bunch of black. Awesome. Just fucking great.

Derek moved beside her and put an arm around her. "Come on, take it easy for a second." He muttered lowly. He didn't want her stressing herself out.

"Scott?  Right.  He’s not here.  He’s probably out with Isaac or Kira.  Something I can help you with, or is he the only Alpha you can go to?"

"Are you okay with him being with Kira or Isaac so much? No, it was just something I was checking. It doesn't matter."

    “        I don’t think so..?”

"--- Did you need something then?"
