A short piece I animated to Kevin Parker's new Tame Impala album for fun.

An homage to Marvel, which created most of the superheros who entertained generations of children and adults for more than 80 years.

This is one of 3 videos we created for Mable Animation and their client, Your.id. Your.id is an identity verification tool. We enjoyed using a more tactile, traditional animation style on this one.

Hey thanks for the kind words! I animated Empathy in flash and then put a treatment over it in after effects, i kept the line work and colour on separate layers, and then copied the line work later, chucked it above everything, blurred it (a lot) and then turned the opacity down to about 5-10%, its a very slight effect but seeing the colours bleed into one another makes it slightly less digital which is nice. Hope that helps!
