One Piece 1120

Its a redrawing and then painting of a double page spread from a comic i have yet to draw. experimenting with the art style. a lot. i got really indecisive with choosing between ink or pencils for linework since i liked the black levels of ink but prefer the soft edges afforded with pencil lines because i think it makes for a better drawing. i discovered i could do both but i'm still trying to figure out the balance. I overcomplicated the trees but i dont think it looks too bad. just makes the background a little less easy to see. like a dreamy thing which can be kinda nice but its about control ig

One Piece 1117 I can't keep getting edged like this forever.

One Piece 1116 The chapter is pretty amazing as always. Oda is on a crazy streak at the moment. I just wish some of this information was condensed a bit more. i'm waiting weeks for crumbs that in a normal book wouldve been released together in 1 or 2 chapters.
