Did someone else notice that we can see the supernatural creatures more in the VHS version? Like holy fk, the scene of Will in season 1 episode 1 when he is in the little cabin, we can barely see the Demogorgon in the original version, but in the VHS version it almost clear as day. I don't if you guys understand how big that is, THE VHS VERSIONS ALLOWS US TO SEE MORE THAN WE DID BEFORE

I felt kind of guilty sitting on this information, but if anyone cares, here are the official maps of both the Rainbow Room and the Creel House, released by the production designer Chris Trujillo a few years ago - I'm mainly sharing this in case it helps anyone to decode the Rainbow Room cipher, but I've kind of lost hope in that stupid puzzle, not gonna lie.

I don't feel like analysing this in detail, but just pushing this out there in case someone smart ones to do something with this.

I saw someone on TikTok saying she decoded the rainbow room maze from the hawkins lab website, that just came out, and this is what she found.

1) this is the "maze" for those who don't know what I'm talking about.

2) her comment:

So, She basically copied the irl I guess and put it through python to get the answers and this is what it said:

"make believe I'm everywhere, I'm hidden in the lines" (hidden in the lines? Maybe the white lines from the VHS version) that's the Never Ending Story song from season 3. Which connects with the 3 sentence: The neverending story duet

The last one is "Hawkins lab override granted" for the non-english speakers, it means the annulment of control over Hawkins Laboratory has been granted. Basically, there is no more Hawkins Lab, I have the worst memory so I looked it up and got this response

I don't know, I don't remember anything from the earlier season, I have to do a full rewatch but yeah, here you go.

More VHS are comming 100%.

1. If they wanted to give us a gift for the 10th anniversary, why not do all the season, why only season one? Why not season 5, which is the last season? Why go back to the start?

2. I know they already wanted to give us a VHS version, because of the tapes that they uploaded on social media

3. Remember that there was some tapes sensed to specific people? VHS has always been on the cards. They know what they're doing.

And all of this also got me thinking that they want us to be involved in the show as well. The merch is very 80s vibes. The recent video of them reacting to pictures in polaroids just like the 80s, the VHS versions as they say on Netflix "to give the real 1983 life"

(+) on the 10th anniversary reacting to pictures video, the photos are purposefully made to look vintage, to look 80s. Because I remember seeing one of those pictures on Instagram before, here you go...

They filmed the last episode while the script was not even finished.

Paul Ditcher itself had to say 'it does not make any sence' while in a meeting for the finale.

Maya Hawk (Robin) and Jamie Campbell (Vecna) had to tell the directors about their own character's stories cuz they had no idea about anything.

Finn acted way better at the table read than in the actual scene.

There was supposed to be a demogorgon figth against the group in the abyss

They said that Eleven's trauma had to dissapear cuz they did not had time to talk about it and give it closure (they gave us 1:30:00 of epilogue btw)

There was 3 tabs (3 TO BE EXACT! as Mike said) of chatgpt in the writers room

This was supposed to clarify the ending but the only thing we end up realizing is how bad writers AND directors where in charge of this amazing series.

Everyone was pissed off at the end. Millie, Finn, Noah, Maya, Jamie, etc. I really can't belive this is how it actually ends

still the funniest part about all of this is that if we’re wrong, the ST writers, production team, and cast all created a set of coincidences SO DIABOLICALLY COMPLEX that we were able to recontextualize the entire show.

as a writer i’ve never in my LIFE had that many plot points, symbols, tropes, or parallels fall into place by random chance.
