Oh no!-it’s not me in particular, no I am scrapping along fine with minimal panic attacks but thank you-for caring, plus Lily would kill me if my grades were slipping or I resorted to asking the dreaded Potter for help instead of her…
All right, then. Whatever works, right?
We've all got our own  coping mechanisms.Â
[squeals in surprise when he dips her backwards, but returns the kiss, giggling as he sets her back on her feet] I quite like that idea. In fact, I like it quite a lot.
Then, it's a date!
[rolls onto the balls of her feet and gives him a quick kiss] I missed you quite a lot.
*Grins and then suddenly dips her backwards, Hollywood style, for a very dramatic snog before setting her back on her feet.*
Likewise. Why don't we have dinner tomorrow night? I'll see if I can knick some food from the Great Hall and we can have a corridor picnic.
score, I do hate when it stuffs my life up for me, quite so.
exactly, or what if you get it and you’re staring at your parchment and for some reason your brain turns off and you’re left not feeling up to writing and crushed by the stress that that will determine the rest of your life. It’s a sodding nightmare.
Apparently.Â
Maybe you could try some calming draught for exams. Or some of whatever Potter, Black, and their mates are peddling these days. It's usually good stuff, after all...

It is…I try not too lie, but-I wouldn’t say I didn’t twist or exaggerate the truth…it’s an illness one I am not proud of but then again I also don’t believe in measuring people by standardized testing, nor academic achievements-not that those aren’t important, it’s just…other things count as well.
Have I made any sense of have I cocked it up by sticking my foot in my mouth?
Nope. Turns out your podiatric pallet hasn't effected your phrasing too dramatically.Â
Exams are a bit rubbish when you think of it. I mean, what if you're just not the sort of person who responds well to the whole 'explain in your own words' or whatever...Â
You have no idea just how missable you are.
...Sounds promising.Â
Okay-um…what kind of paperwork is it? because to be perfectly honest I don’t know all that much about the administration policies of this school, being the non-perfecter I am, but I do know how to…make fairly believable reasons for not doing work. Do you think that would work?
You're sweet, love. Nah. It's mostly done, now, hence my resurfacing.Â
But I might come and see you during exams about that 'fairly believable excuses' thing... Sounds bloody useful.
That sounds like a very evil demon, indeed.
You aren’t the only one that’s been off. I spent weeks in the library catching up on revisions. But I missed you lots and lots. [she smiles softly]
Sounds like we've both been battling our demons then, lovely.Â
And of course you did. I'm extremely missable. Always have been.
You are a sneaky devil Frank Longbottom, what would you mother say unloading your workload onto someone junior.
She'd say, "Well done, Frankie, my boy! Now, run away quickly!"Â
Nah... in all honesty, she'd probably just be irritated with me for not doing my work. So... maybe we don't tell her?

Frank! There you are! I feel like I haven’t seen you in ages!
I've been spirited away by an evil, evil demon called "administrative tasks."
Apologies, love. I've missed you.Â
I would, but I think tiny matter of what I have underneath my skirt kind of limits my ability to.
I won't say anything if you won't.Â
There’s paperwork?
There is. It's super annoying. I've got to go through all of the reports from the prefects and all of that.Â
You don't want the job, do you?
Okay, does anyone else want to be Head Boy?Â
The paperwork is exhausting...
Ah, you see it’d be a right challenge to get rid of me.
Not really. I just send Lily Evans in the opposite direction.Â

You caught me.
That’s good to hear. I haven’t a clue how you manage that. It’d be way too much responsibility for me. It’s a good thing we know I’ll never be Head Boy with all the trouble I create.
I’ve been alright. You know, the usual. Yeah it has been awhile. Did you think that you finally got rid of me?
Well, hopes were high but they've obviously been dashed, now...Â
Don’t worry, mate. I don’t want to hear about yours and Alice’s late night escapades. How have you been?
First of all, of course you do. Don't be ridiculous. Everyone does.Â
I've been well. See above regarding escapades. Also, I might finally have a handle on this Head Boy thing.Â
You? I feel like we've not talked in ages.Â
