also reminder that they make chump change compared to disney who whines and cries that in all their years of experience they can’t handle the prospect of animating a girl with a face different than the rest and that it’s “too hard” because only females can express such a wide range of emotions that it makes them difficult to animate

Here’s the thing that I don’t get.

Indiana Jones. Great character, hates Nazis. Punches and kills his way through them. Still loved by all. 

Everyone loves Batman! Doesn’t like Nazis. 

Wonder Woman, showing people how it’s done. 

Even the villains don’t tolerate Nazis! 

Like, the Joker is seen as one of the most notorious villains in the DC-verse, and he just is about to beat the shit out of the Red Skull. 

More examples: 

And just the sheer amount of times Captain America, literally a character to signify the freedom of the US of fucking A, has punched Nazis is bordering the line of excessive. 

So all of this media ranging from different decades and companies have all endorsed Nazi punching. However, as soon as this happens:

Everyone loses their shit! “Violence begets violence!” “That isn’t the way to do it” “How dare he attack that man!” “Don’t put out fire with fire!” “You’re just as bad as them if you’re violent!” 

But here’s the thing. It interrupts their platform. It shows that they are not invincible. It shows that they are not protected. It shows that they are going to be held accountable for their spouts of hate disguised as freedom of speech. It shows that there are consequences for their words. 

I’m not saying that I’m going to seek out Nazis just to punch them, but I’m not going to stop anyone who’s doing it either. 

“Increases your chances by 80%” does not mean “there is now an 80% chance”. 

If your chances were previously 10%, your chances are now 18%, not 90%. 

if your chances were roughly 1%, they’re now just slightly less than 2%. 

I agree 100% with this. While its nice seeing corporations putting more efforts during pride than just putting a bunch of pride flags on their social media and items and calling it a day, its more important to spread awareness about how the lgbtqa community has high statistics of alcohol addiction and how alot of harm has come onto lgbtqa people because of alcohol induced health concerns. I hope this post doesn’t come off as promoting budwiser or implying that people should buy budwiser just bc they included trans and ace people bc the purpose is mainly to point out how if we are gonna see corporations using pride month to market their products towards lgbtqa people, id rather have them using their platform to actually spread ACTUAL awareness about lgbtqa identities and people and credit lgbtqa activists than slap some pride flags and tell lgbtqa people to buy their products.

And yeah i too wish any other brand than an alcohol one was doing this too
