i just fucking hope that something actually changes now because it feels like every time something like this happens nothing changes. lambrecht died on an unsafe route in poland in 2021 and the race is still run the same way every year and has huge crashes every year (like baroncini having to be put in an induced coma last year). furrer died after being left unlocated after a crash for 2 hours in 2024 and we still don’t have rider tracking. there were so many instances of cars on roads leading up to this and you could see this would happen one of these days and now it has. When is it going to change because every time we think surely it has to now and it doesn’t

going to sleep but before i do i have to emphasize one more time this tadejisaac situation is rlly pissing me off like wydm you meet this guy on your team and he’s really down to earth and treats you like a regular person which is so addicting in a world of people deifying you and then he has an insane speedrun rise to the top of your sport which lets him understand you like no one ever has and he’s a little weird but you find him charming and he is super devoted to you but because of your authentic personal connection not what you can Do For Him and you can compete alongside each other and it’s thrilling and you can be emotionally vulnerable with him in a way you’ve never let yourself be before and it feels safe and you can try to help him on his path and it’s healing for your own past ANDDDDD you just love to play around like stupid kids having a laugh together? oh okay cool. that’s awesome good for you guys 😐👍 congrats on finding all that like i don’t even careeeeeee 🫠

i do need to think more about the andorra exhibition thing in 2025 because it is seriously SO comical and hilarious. like okay sure it's october 2025 and isaac has just had his breakout season in the spring at the giro so he's actually a big enough name to get invited to something this goofy (as a remco replacement, but still!)......he and tadej have going on Whatever they have going on at that point.......aka in my mind the ongoing slow build of mutual affection that's been kicked into a new gear now that isaac is more famous and tadej a) feels more comfortable being obsessed with him which he already was b) isaac emerging as the hot new cycling protege heralded as A Future TDF Champion And The Next Pogacar actually has given them a much deeper emotional understanding of each other since isaac understands more of what tadej experienced back then and tadej understands what isaac is experiencing now. on top of that you've just had worlds aka their first cycling date when tadej announced to the world why yes i Will be slowing down and waiting for isaac sometimes i Do want to be riding with him and for him. so like all THAT'S been going on and then Boom. ur on a couples trip for work with. checks notes. jonas vingegaard and primoz roglic. ymmv on what exactly the SPECIFICSSSSS of those dynamics are for tadej but like you can't deny they are probably not the top two individuals who he would have invited along on he and isaac's little andorra trip lmaoooo 😅
