i’d say violin’s main love language is either acts of service or gift giving! she seems like the type of partner to open doors for you, carry your items, or drape a jacket for you when it gets cold. it really ties to her personal insecurity of wanting to be ‘useful’ enough to someone, and i can see her fretting over little things in order to make sure you feel the most comfortable. how gentlemanly!

on the topic of gift giving, i feel like it’s a personal interest that violin wants to integrate into your relationship. she’s already a trinket collector herself, and she definitely likes buying any items that may remind her of you. while most of the time her gifts are bought from stores, i can see her really wanting to give you a handmade item. it’s a skill she still has from her blackrock days, and she really does want to impress you in a way. problem is, it’s hard to work on something when your prosthetic isn’t exactly a functioning hand, but rather a really sharp blade instead. if you tell her outright that you don’t mind, you may find a jagged or slightly broken ‘gift’ sitting atop your desk. she’s really trying her best :(

another form of gift giving she may choose to do is writing songs! sometimes she may approach you with a new melody to play and ask for your opinion on it, saying it ‘reminds her of you’. you’re not exactly sure how that works either.

in return, violin loves receiving words of affirmation. after years of being berated and scolded for every little mistake, she craves validation and cherishes every compliment you give her. this trait of hers can become overwhelming at some points, so please be patient with her.

sometimes, she may dedicate a performance for you. she doesn’t really announce it outright in order to respect your privacy, but if you approach her after a show, she may admit that she practiced especially hard because she knew you were watching.

speaking of your relationship, violin’s a more private and reserved person, so i can see her being a little on edge when it comes to any pda. if you want to show any form of affection in public, she generally allows it if it’s the more subtle kind, such as hand holding. she’d prefer any form of kissing or embracing in a space that’s more private and comfortable for you both.

another thing about violin is that she always feels cold, regardless of the weather. while it’s relatively warmer in crossroads, she still can’t help but feel a slight chill sometimes. therefore, i can see her really liking cuddles! she may be embarrassed when you first propose this to her, but as long as you’re in a more private space like your bed or your apartment, she’d definitely love to be held to chase away that annoying chill. plus it makes her feel safe :]
