Cameron;

The doctor gave a final smile before going nodding, leaving the couple around in the room, with their baby. Ashley was yawned, her little mouth open wide and her hands kept moving around. Her eyes were still closed, but she still looked beautiful, “So, now we’re almost married and with a baby, talk about a crazy year we’ve had,” She chuckled softly, “Went from hating you, to this, I think we’ve done a pretty good job, don’t you think?” Ariel looked up at her lovers eyes, full of joy and amity.

" Yearh, who knew that a drunk hook up could lead to all this? " He chuckled and tilted his head. When he first met Ariel, he didn't thought that this would happend. First, he only wanted to sleep with her, get a feeling of who she was. But there was so much more with her. He couldn't get enough of her voice or her smile,  he just needed more. And when Cameron wanted something, he would get it. " You hated me!? Well, now i'm offended. " He pouted, and turned around on his chair, so he was facing the wall. " For your information, I never hated you, I just misunderstood you! " He tried to say in a serious voice, without bursting into laughter. 

She did, Ariel thought to in her head, smiling at Cameron. Ariel had several names in mind, but one specific she thought, “How about— Ashley?” Ashley Sage Hawley, what you think?” Looking over at Cameron’s blue orbs. She wanted his opinion, of course, but she hopes he agreed. The baby, though, no matter what name was given would still be the beautiful life form that gave Ariel the power and happiness to love it till she dies. She was a mother, with her future husband, what perfect moment could she really ask for now?

Cameron nodded as she suggested a name. Ashley. He instantly fell for the name. " Ashley Sage Hawley it is. " He smiled and looked down at their baby girl, Ashley. " You hear that, you're a Hawley. And you should just know, that Hawley's are known for becoming good at something, or achieve big and great things in life. Let's take me for example, not only did I make sure our school team won the last game. I was also so lucky, that I got your mom. " He kept talking to Ashley, like he knew she listened to him. " See, that's mom, and you're gonna look exactly like her. Or, maybe not exactly, but close. " He chuckled and walked closer to Ariel. " You wan't her back? " He asked, and looked down at Ariel, kissing her cheek again.

Turning to Cameron, she sniffled a bit, “Do you want to hold your baby?” She laughed, choking a bit through her tears but she was a happy so everything else doesn’t matter. Slowly, she passed her baby to Cameron, she was sure he was just as excited, his face looked as thrilled as she expected. This was it— her family are her prime, together and something that’s been anticipated. Ariel shivered a bit, nervous at what’s going to happen after today. Life is changing after this, and she just hopes both of them will be ready for the baby’s sake.

Cameron opened his mouth, so it formed an 'o' and looked around him. He had never held a baby before. Or, he had held his little sister when he was a kid, but he just sat with her. He nodded, and took her up in his arms. He didn't stop smiling a single second while he took her close to him, and rocked back and forth, hearing her little groans. " She's so small.. " He whispered, and furrowed his eyebrows. He had never felt more complete than this moment. He just wanted to stay like this forever. " Maybe she likes me better. " He chuckled, and looked back at Ariel as he heard the babys cries stopped. " A real daddy's girl. " He smiled and looked back at her.

The doctor came back with the baby, as it cried and wailed in his arms. He smiled at Ariel, “It’s time to hold her,” He told, passing down the baby, now wrapped in a towel, to Ariel. Gently, Ariel took it from the doctors arms, and was almost dazed. Her baby was very small, so light like a feather. It had chubby cheeks and it’s skin was blotching red. Lightly, she ran her fingers on the cheek of her baby, “Hey there, little one, welcome,” Ariel started to cry, but fought through it with a smile, “You’re so small and beautiful… your daddy is right here with you too,” Ariel laughed, softly, but she turned to Cameron to see his expression.

As the doctor came over to their bed, holding their girl in a towel, he smiled and reached her over to Ariel. " Here she is. " He said, and placed her in Ariels arms. Cameron smiled and looked back at Ariel. He took his hand up, and wiped the tears strolling down her cheek with his thumb. " She's so beautiful.. " He mumbled, and took his shakening hand down to her face, and touched the soft skin with his finger. " She's gonna break a million guys hearts when she get's older " He chuckled and tilted his head, to get a better view of her.

The contractions were beginning to tighten even worse, Ariel’s breath were more ragged and heavy. Another painful rip made Ariel shout in pain, “Hold her down, ma’am, please, push and breathe, keep repeating that and you’ll be fine,” Ariel was sweating, tired, weak, helpless— she slowly gasp, “M—My baby—,” She felt so much pain, Ariel never imagined it be this bad, but she began pushing. Slowly, the doctor, who seemed much older than the rest of the nurses, was her her legs. They made the bed lift up, so she could let them see the opening, “I—I see a head,” One of the nurses spoke, “Keep pushing!” Ariel could feel the agonizing sensation fill through her body, she was crying again, “It hurts so fucking much,” She screamed, in tears. The nurses were at her side, “It’s okay, love, just keep pushing, the baby is almost out,” Ariel did what she was told, she promised herself she be a fighter, 9 months of it, and this was it. Ariel wasn’t sure if she was both scared and excited— she screamed so loud her final push, probably the whole hospital could have heard her. Everything went silent, Ariel panicked and thought she went deaf. But what broke the silence, made her stomach do flips— it was the cries of the baby in which filled the room.

As the doctors started to tell her to push, she squeezed around Camerons hand, making Cameron winch and look back at her. It hurt, but he would bet his house that it didn't hurt nearly as much as it did on Ariel. She let out another loud scream, and Cameron was about to burst into tears. Seeing her like this was terrible. She looked like a mess. Sweaty, tears streaming down her face. " It's almost out there, I love you, Ariel. I love you ,please you can do this. " He kept telling her. Suddenly a high pitched scream filled the room, and everything went silent. Cameron could hear his heart beat, and it was like everything else was gone. Suddenly he saw it. A little pink thing being held up in the doctors arms, screaming and fighting with it's arms. Cameron couldn't stop himself, before silent tears rolled down his cheek. " It's a girl! Would the father like to cut the umbilical cord? " The doctors announced. Cameron nodded, but kept a straight face. He couldn't believe what just had happend. He took the scissor and cut the blue and purple string, looking back at Ariel, who looked beyond exhausted. They had a little girl. A tiny girl. As the nurses cleaned off their little girl, Cameron walked back to Ariel and kissed her while crying silent. " W-We had a girl.. A little.. A girl. " He sobbed, and looked into her eyes.

Once they got out of the car, she gripped Cam’s tightly as they made there way to the maternity ward. She’s seen a couple of birthing videos— all of them freaked her out, to be honest. She smiled, breathing in and out, in and out. The nurses knew instantly, as they made their way towards her, “We have a live one, someone get the stretcher, stat!” The other nurses got the stretcher, placing Ariel softly onto the metallic bed. She still kept her hand on Cameron, “Relax, blondie, I’ve been through worse,” She gasp, feeling another painful stab, then she screamed. She felt it, burning sensation, and soon enough even worse pain.

Cameron took long quick steps to keep up and standing if not behind, between Ariel and some nurses. When they reached their room, Cameron got offered a chair, but kept standing close to Ariel. He didn't understand what the nurses and doctors talked about, but he had a feeling it would hurt like hell. They gave Ariel some white loose clothes, and she put it on before laying down on the bed. As she screamed, Cameron closed his eyes shut, feeling how her hand tigthen around his. He leaned down to her, kissing her cheek, hoping she would calm down.

Going outside, she weakly made her way to the car. She could feel her body crumble from the inside, her baby was making his way out and she couldn’t stop it any longer. But Ariel was scared, what if there was something wrong with the baby? Why is it so early? Ariel groaned even louder, getting inside the car with the keys and turning it on. She groaned and screamed in the passenger seat, “H—Hurry."

Cameron grabbed the back from their bedroom, and ran into their bathroom. " Should I get towels, yes, towles, i'll get towels. " He said to himself, and grabbed two or three from their cabin. He also took some pills with him, and threw them in the bag. He almost jumped down the stairs, and took a brick of chocolate milk with him. He could hear Ariel groan, and he fell over his own legs in the driveway. He threw the bags in the backseat, and put the towels at the bottom at the car. " I don't know, I got you some chocolate milk. " He said, and put the brick down beside her. He reversed the car, and drived with full speed to the hospital.

Ariel did sat down, just to asses the situation and relax her stomach. Although it didn’t seem to help, as the pains began more prominent and ravage. Ariel gasped, it felt like the air in her body escaped her lungs and her body constricted from the inside. Ariel felt warm tears fall from her face, she wasn’t doing a very good job trying to calm herself down. But what hit the fact was the point where she felt it— her water broke. Ariel was dazed, not even sure how to comprehend the moment. She looked up and spoke, her words soft and quiet, “M—My water broke— this can’t be, something is wrong… it’s 2 weeks early!"

Cameron looked at Ariel, and saw tears falling down her cheeks. He was about to ask if she wanted to call the hospital, when she opened her mouth. Cameron stood for a minute, confused and unable to remember what that meant. Suddenly he remembered. The nights where he had snuck Ariels baby books to the toilet and read hundreds of pages on how to take care of it, how to change the diapers, and what it meant when the water broke. Cameron fell back against the dining table, and grabbed a chair. " Wait, wait, fuck, you're. It's coming, the baby.. It's coming. It's coming now, Ariel, why is it.. It's coming now?! " He yelled and walked over to her. " Fuck, what do I do?! Should I call my mom, she knows what to do, or does she, fuck it." Cameron grabbed his phone from his back pocket and dialed his moms number. " Hi, mom, uhm, i'm having a baby, like, Ariel is breaking her water, what are we doing, it wasn't supposed to happen now, mom, what's going on? " He stuttered, and looked around him.

Another painful tug aroused from Ariel’s stomach, biting her lip, then looking at Cameron, “It’s fine, just small pains, nothing to worry about, probably the baby just begging to come out," She smiled weakly, but deep down she felt like it was more than just painful pins. But she didn’t want inform Cameron of them, cause he would probably worry ten times worse than usual. She took Cameron’s glass and tried to bring it to the sink, before another cramp made her accidentally shatter on the floor, “Fuck— sorry, sorry, I— I’ll clean it up."

As the glass fell on the floor, and shattered into a million small pieces, Cameron flinched and his eyes widened. He stood up, and walked over to Ariel. " Baby, you need to rest, come here. " He took his arm around her shoulders, and lead her over to the couch. " Now sit, and don't get up unless u have to go the bathroom. " He kissed her, and walked over to clean up the glass.

Smiling, she had herself a granola bar and sat next to Cameron, “So— I was thinking that we should probably start planning the wedding, and I know guys aren’t the ideal partners for that, but I called a wedding planner, and she was willing to help us out for a affordable price, we might meet her sometime this week, so I’m asking you to be on your best behavior?" She smiled, tilting her head and staring at Cameron, she knows how silly, protective, and sassy he can be, and she would hope that he would be open to all ideas for the wedding. Ariel didn’t wanted anything too big but something memorable would be amazing. She cringed a bit, her stomach acting up again, but quickly ignored it.

" What are you talking about, aren't I always on my best behavior? " Cameron smiled, his teeth covered in chocolate. " Sure, sure, I promise. But please do not over think about the price, my parents have promised to help if it's a little bit over our budget. " He said, and moved closer to the table. As he noticed Ariel cringing he moved his chair closer to her, and tilted his head. " How's the stomach? " He asked and took a spoonful of his breakfast. He knew there weren't long until their baby arrived, and he tried his best to be supportive. It was a bit difficult since he had never been to a birth, or seen them on movies. When his little sister was born, he spent all day at his grandmom's house, because he was only 5 years old.

Going to the kitchen, she’s been having some stomach pains. She knew it couldn’t be the contractions because she was 2 weeks early for that, so she didn’t take it as a big deal and kept on doing her normal business. She made Cameron some oatmeal and glass of chocolate milk for breakfast, as they were probably going to go out baby shopping later on. The pains began getting worst, but that didn’t stop her, Ariel was stronger than that, she’s been through worse situations in life, that she’s glad made her a better person in the present.. She called out for fiancee, “Cameron! Breakfast is ready on the table!"

As he heard her voice from downstairs, he groaned and squeezed his eyes shut. " I think my legs have been cut off, you need to come and help me! " He shouted, and turned on his side. He shouldn't be complaining since it was her carrying around a living human inside of her, but Cameron would never stop being lazy. He had improved a little because of the pregnancy, but it was still as it used to. Cameron decided it was time to get up, and he almost fell out of bed down to the floor. He walked downstairs in nothing but his boxers, and tried smile as he approached his fiancee. " I'm tired.. " He yawned, and walked over to Ariel, kissing her cheek.
