ted and bobby were very close, especially after bobby entered the senate. it was sort of a role reversal from the dynamic they'd had their entire lives because suddenly ted was the more experienced brother and he got to take on a different role of helping out bobby. they'd constantly be going into each others offices and called each other "eddie" and "robby". their relationship was always just more affectionate than that of the older siblings. bobby would also go visit teddy when ted was in the hospital with a broken back and he'd bring cookies and just stay by his side to talk :(
