A film podcast where my brother Kieran, Ryan, and myself select movies from my watch-list at random and then watch and discuss them in the style of a book club. Free-wheeling and lots of fun, and takes are film-watching a little off the beaten path.

A hard science fiction hack of John Harper’s roleplaying game Blades in the Dark, currently in the process of being designed and play-tested. The game is now in a beta release, with further updates coming in 2019.

I wrote twice weekly (Mondays and Fridays) movie news coverage at Casual Critic, a UK-based amateur movie news and reviews site from 2016 to 2018. My news writing is unfortunately no longer accessible since the site shut down, although I have with permission republished some of my other articles for the site on my own blog here.

A semi-weekly film criticism feature column at Casual Critic where I delved into strange or obscure old movies and picked them apart to see what makes them tick, with a special focus on horror and surrealism. The column can be found in its republished form at my personal blog here.

Final poster board design produced as the physical deliverable for the Avant Garde module during the final year of the Multimedia Course at CIT. The project took Irish urban population data from 1911-1991 (sourced from the CSO) and ran it through a basic procedural algorithm written in JavaScript to create an abstract aesthetic representation of the data. The poster board shows the outcomes of different iterations of the code.

Motion graphics produced for the Advanced Image Creation module during Year 2 of the Multimedia course. Includes slides showing storyboard development.
