I received the Everlasting Lipliner by Kat Von D in the shade “LOLITA”. It is lightweight, natural + bold. Let’s be real... it is EVERLASTING! I wore this lipliner all day long, literally! The application is easy + it goes on smoothly! This is every girls’ dream lip liner because it can be worn all day, it’s smudge free + it can be worn alone! The liner is a twist-up, can easily be stored and recognizable. This high-end product is very affordable with an MSRP of $18.

February VoxBox from Influenster - Fierce Edition

This is probably by far my FAVORITE voxbox from Influenster! It is seriously a fierce pack! I remember taking a snap [survey] about my hair, feminine products, skin and nail care. The snap determined if I qualified to receive these complimentary products for testing. Some of the products I’ve used and some I still need to tryout.

SinfulColors collaborated with Kandee Johnson, a celebrity make-up artist, to spice up their nail polishes. // I used this nail polish the day I received the voxbox. Madam C.J. Walker Softening & Silking Brassica Seed Oil: This is another product for all my curly girls! It is a lightweight oil that smooths and gives radiant shine. // The packaging is so cute, and the oil smells amazing! I cannot wait to bless my hair with a couple drops! // Instagram: @mcjwbeauty 

Vaseline Jelly: Softens, enhances and is the G.O.A.T. of all products. It will NEVER go out of style. // Beauty Tip: I absolutely love matte lipstick, but sometimes they are super dry! Well, Vaseline Jelly is the ultimate lip primer that is super cheap and does wonders. It softens and sets my lips and my matte lipstick last all day. // Twitter: @VaselineBrand 

Carefree Acti-Fresh Regular: These are regular, unscented, panty liners for on the go. They are individually packed and super thin. // I tried the liners, and I’m not a big fan of them. They are super thin, which I love, but they do not stay in place. // Facebook: /CarefreeLiners

The blind cannot continue to lead the blind. 

Three months ago today, I decided to move to Atlanta without having a job. I kept my current job, which was located in Columbus and commuted, daily! I was going broke putting gas in my car two to three times a week.

I was so unhappy, stressed and drained, but I didn’t give up because bills don’t pay themselves. Everyday for two months and 12 days, I woke up at 4:45 am to get ready for a job I no longer enjoyed. I would cry so hard on the way to work because I had reached my breaking point, but I could not quit. I prayed daily, kneeling with an open Bible, given to me by a coworker at VSU. Everyday God allowed me to endure, just as I asked. I prayed, I was persistent, & I waited patiently on God to answer. 

On January 18th, a recruiter called and offered me a full time position with an amazing benefits package. I cried because I was overwhelmed with joy and amazed at the power of prayer. I gladly accepted the position with no hesitation because this is what I prayed for. I am so fortunate to say I have work/life balance, remote work days and a 5 minute commute to work, now! This is what I wanted in my next position.

Just remember to trust your struggle & find ways to appreciate and enjoy the process. Sometimes you have to JUMP and trust in Him. God hears all prayers and gives us exactly what we need at the right time! Give Him all the honor and praise he deserves, and watch how he blesses you.

My boy has done it, AGAIN! “League of My Own” by CTBBreezy has finally dropped! And it’s a must hear! This song does have explicit content, so don’t play it around our beautiful children! 

Prior to this single, Breezy released an EP with his brother, Scotty Hermes (IG: @ScottyHermes.1) entitled Brothers Keeper. It has 6 tracks: “1K”, “Self Made”, and “Ain’t Worried”, to name a few.
