Life lately: (I’ve realised this is an easy way to update my tumblr followers with what’s been happening in my life without much effort! It’s also a great way to post things that I maybe haven’t posted on instagram)
1/ I’m so happy I’ve continued to squeeze in riding in my life. I never thought I’d ride again after stopping when I was 15. Here’s a photo of my first ride on Joey, who’s a gentle giant at 17hands
2/ When Lauren started working at my company as an intern a few years ago, I was assigned to be her mentor. We’ve since had regular catch-ups where I’ve helped her as she moved into a full-time role, got a promotion, and now got a job offer back in the States (where she’s from). I’ll really miss our catch-ups and how hilarious she is. Here’s a photo of us in Lisbon last week where we spent a few days on a work trip.
3/ I keep a running list of restaurants I want to try and a few weeks ago I finally tried Evernight, a modern izakaya in Nine Elms. Every dish was amazing! The cooking was so inventive and tasty and I can’t wait to go back.
4/ One of the things I love most about my job is meeting people in the wider ecosystem. This photo was taken on International Women’s Day for a breakfast event with female founders and investors that we co-sponsored with a VC. It was held at a private member’s club for women called AllBright, who I started a partnership with this year.
