I don't want your garbage

God…I’ve always felt bad for Pearl but…A Single Pearl Rose cemented just how tragic her character really is.

She was manipulated by someone she loved, by someone she thought loved her, she was manipulated into staging a murder, she was manipulated into becoming a war criminal, a fugitive, a killer—and in the end, in the end, it was revealed that the love she felt was never reciprocated, and before Pearl knew what was happening, she had to sit and watch as the one she gave up everything for fell in love with someone else and then took her own life to avoid her mistakes…

What was it all for? What were any of her sacrifices for? What was she for?

Nothing.

And people wonder why her self-esteem is so horrible. “Rose” used her for thousands upon thousands of years before casting her aside like she was nothing, like none of it mattered, like she didn’t matter.

It’s not Rose’s fault for falling in love with Greg, but it’s her fault for everything else she’s done to Pearl. I honestly can’t wait until Pearl finds happiness within herself firstly and her family secondly. She doesn’t need Rose to be happy.

In “Full Disclosure,” we see Steven swipe through the photos on his phone, and there’s this one of Steven and Connie at a restaurant. 

Notice the painting and the stuffed cow head. Stuffing and mounting an animal’s head is usually what you do with an animal that you’ve hunted and killed, not with domesticated farm animals that are slaughtered for their meat. 

And that painting is based on a real painting of Theodore Roosevelt, who was (among many other things) a big game hunter. 

And then there’s this line from Garnet in “Too Far:”
