All Eyez on Men!
From the day that God put Adam on this earth as his child to be the first of many called Man.
We have bitten, walked, traveled, crawled, fought, prayed, been slaves of the mind, body and soul and somehow we have been able to celebrate from the disparity of whatever chains we as Man have encountered and no matter what color your hand may be; we have all walked down our paths of uncertainty.
See as Men we are born into this world from the seed of conception of what we must do, be and how we must live life in order to proceed to be the backbone for our families.
See sometimes we were thrusted into being a man without enjoying life as a child because we were without a father figure of strength or sometimes without a mother showing us how to be compassionate.
See, to consume this weight of accomplishing levels of tasks and deciding the only way is by any means necessary; we pushed our fear out of our inner being for we cannot fail!
I remember my father; whom I disagreed with somewhat because of truths that I can’t explain or I’m not willing to open an old Pandora’s Box. But I can say one thing! Even when sometimes he may have failed.
I can say one word he stated over and over to me and put it deep in my mind.
He said never have this word as a part of your vocabulary He stated if I never ever have taught you anything else! – Never say the word!! CAN’T.
So, I might have failed from time to time in front of my peers, family, friends with some decisions in life, love, success but isn’t that a part of what being a Man is!
I always knew one thing above all is that I never would falter at being a father. See the pain still lingers and sometimes I reflect back - but as I look at the environment that surrounded our life back then the pressure was crazy to be a Man.
I can say that I turned out pretty solid with the love of family and I know that I am nowhere near perfect but I have learned and like so many of our Men; who are and were great fathers of our past, present and future.
We are powerful mentally, physically, spiritually and we have learned to Love and give our all to our women, children, family and friends.
