Even Faeries Have Drug Problems

Wait wait wait so you’re telling me

That these things aren’t elaborately shaped slightly mathematical candies?

During yet another re-watch of the Caledonia series I’ve come across yet another screw-you to the film industry. Trying to discredit the trope that women are only good for looking pretty, and men are for action, the following scene takes place: 

A fight occurs between some hooded figures and Nour-El-Ain, Lee & Leah Bishop. Afterwards, Nour exchanges pleasantries with Detective Inspector Dorian Grey.

Dorian: “My compliments on your fighting, Nour-El-Ain.”  Nour: “My compliments on your suit!” 

This scene is pretty self-explanatory: the female character is praised for her talent rather than just looking good while the male didn’t take part in the fight and was praised for his fashion sense.
