A type of MUSIC THERAPY for me. Original composition, off the top of my head. 

Original composition. Two parts; lead part improvised over my original, pensive, chord progression.

Acoustic guitar, original, improvised composition solo, and later memorised.

This original composition was all totally improvised, hope you like it?

This is an original composition of mine, all parts are performed by me; two vocal lines and six guitar parts. Recorded on my lap top.

When ever I play this tune it brings me back to my childhood when my father left Sicily to come to Australia in search of a better life for us. It describes the sadness in my heart watching my dad disappear in the distance on the ship TOSCANA ( 1956 ) We eventually all met again in 1957 at the port of Melbourne . God bless Australia.

(via https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zBtxTOSfVg) This chord solo was originally taken from a Don Andrews arrangement, I have  since re-arranged it to suit my own playing, colouring it up, adding extra bass notes and certain fills  here and there etc.. I am playing it finger style in a Joe Pass solo style. You may need to turn the volume up or play this through a good speaker.
